I am using Gel Blast 4 for about a year, I bought at RM330 at that time after some discount. Before this I was using Gel Blade 3 & then I had an Archilles Tendon rupture which I went for a surgery. Due to more support, I now wearing Gel Blast 4 & it does felt more stable & support on the overall feet but I do admit it is a much heavier shoe, for me which is not a fast player, it is still OK. If one like to move fast around the court, then Gel Blast is not the one to go for, if one required a better support on the heels & landing, the I can say that Gel Blast is suitable.
I agree, I'm not too sure I want to be seen wearing that shoe. I liked the looks of the Blade 4 and Blast 5. Who at Asics came up with this idea?
Wow that Gel Blast 6 looks really... plastic fantastic. Right now I'm playing with the Gel Blade 4, which is specifically designed for the 'fast racket sports'. I played with the Gel Blade 3 before, and that one is a bit smaller compared to the 4. It's a solid, light, durable shoe with terrific shock absorbation.
Guys, need help, where to get cheaper asics gel-blast4 in Malaysia, Penang cheapest is rm399.im planning to buy the orange colour blast.

anyone can comment about gel rocket 7? is it good? compare to gel blast 6 / blase or other model? thanks
Bought blast 6 but not convinced it's amazing yet. A bit tight around the toes and feels a bit more clumsy / heavy compared to my former Yonex shoes. However, very stable as previously said and looks to be built to last. It's supposedly shoes made for handball?
The new Gel-Beyond 4 (love the colourway but apparently haven't been paying attention as loads of models come in a navy/blue/orange colourway this year ) Of course you could also go for the Asics 90's retro colourway
Gel Rocket is a lower range model compared to Blast, Blade, etc. but it depends on your needs and not to forget the fit ...
