a friend of mine called up AJ in puchong and asked about the X5 series and he was quoted ~RM490 per racket. they said to come in store to be offered a deal. why can't AJ quote a more reasonable price on the phone?

X5 White definitely got the looks:cool:! Meanwhile, I think my older X2 Gold would still beat X5 Gold. I have no way of knowing until somebody post the reviews here. No plans for the X5 because when X3 Gold was release, I thought it's gonna replace my X2 Gold...well X2 is way better than X3 Gold, therefore, I'm gonna adapt a wait and see approach.

I was at my friend's shop today viewing and getting a feel at all 3 X5 models. I must say all 3 models have beautiful paint with nice colour shade selected. Its all down to personal preferences when it comes to colour.

Anyway I was bemused with the spec of the racket when I begun to weight its B.P and flex. According to RSL specification table, the X5Gold is supposed to be stiffer and headlight compared to the Silver but it was exactly the other way round. The Silver turned out to be stiffer and head heavier.

Also, the White supposed to be the most flexible out of the 3 but its stiffness does not differ much from the Silver. Its B.P rating is correct nevertheless.

Of all 3 models, I personally found the Gold to have a well balanced spec and it feels right. The other 2 models is either being too headlight or too stiff to my liking.

    2 cents worth.

Just bought the X5 silver through Eric on eBay and was wondering hows the paint durability? I know for a fact when i mis-hit with my BS 11, the paint chips off like crazy.
