Agreed with extremenanopowe. A lot of brand is seasonal. So we, consumer have to get ready to change to other shuttlecock always.

Bro, if you play for 30-40 years every single week, then you can recommend me la.. lol. Else, stick to experience people's advice. Less headache. Nothing is free in life. ;) We have gone through all kinds of shuttles. ;)

Well I alternate between AS40 and RSL CLassic Tourney and often find I prefer the RSL. AS50 is king but with that price....it should be the King and the Queen!

Is your preference based on flight and durability or value for money? In KL, AS40 cost 30% more than RSL Classic Tourney.

A bit of everything. I think if we're talking value for money included, RSl Classic Tourney is easily my fave. I'm not just saying that because I distribute and sell RSL shuttles, I had many vendors to choose from and I chose RSL because of all the shuttles I tested, I found them to be the best bang for buck. They have essentially the same flight pattern and durability as AS40's, but at a much more affordable price.

I initially used to buy and sell only Yonex, then moved on to Aeroplane, which admittedly have great durability, but imo less accurate flight pattern. After testing several others, I've finally settled on RSL Classic. I actually wrote out a comprehensive comparison of them somewhere on the forums back when I was testing.

Another consistent & durable quality shuttlecock is Yang Yang 300B. My group (in Singapore) have been playing this birdie for over a year now & everyone loves it. Choose Speed 76 as Speed 77 tend to be heavier. Price is about the same as Sealion Gold if not cheaper.

RSL Official is pretty good. RM41 per tube and lasts 1 game & can still keep for warm-up/next round/sessions

My group(s) use RCL Titanium, Aeroplane EG1130 and Yonex AS30... Bad batches are normal for any brand. Recently I even found a few bad ones in the Yonex AS30 tube. I guess shuttlecock margins must be really tight, so manufactures sometimes compromise on quality.

The Aeroplane EG1130 is quite hard to find in the Klang valley because it has just been newly brought in. They probably need a little time to establish their dealer network. I get my supply through a friend who knows one of the sales person.

    Malaysian kawan,

I need to check, how much is the sealion gold selling at your place? Can you check with your fb friend, badminton manager or shops? Am trying to find a supplier there for my friend. ;)

    tks.
