I am in: Frankie (Dolbydj). I will be there from Sunday July 29 - Sunday Aug 5. Also, my friend Jack is coming with me. It will be cool to get out and play in London. Also, wouldn't mind going to the badminton shops if it's not too far.

I don't think I can make it to the Manchester one, but I can probably make it to the London one. Like I said before, what do you mean by guide? Do you want me to just bring people around London and stuff?
I can certainly sort out some courts - there's a very decent sports hall I know just off the M6 (J20)...
Please make a reservation for July 31st Manchester area get-together, evening session, after everyone comes back from work (or surfing BC in office the whole day).. *Just realized Manchester area is abt 3 hrs from London, 1 way!!
I know London fairly well-ish. I would like to join in, but don't actually fancy going to watch Olympic badminton. Would be nice to put faces to names etc and play some badminton, assuming I don't suffer anymore injuries! I am based in North London, but am flexible as to where we can go?
As far as I'm aware, there aren't that many badminton shops in London. Like, not many shops DEDICATED to badminton or at least, have a decent range of badminton equipment because to my knowledge, most badminton purchases in London (and probably England) are made online. I do know maybe 2 or 3 shops though, although they're all quite far from each other

Yup. There are not many dedicated badminton shops. United Sports in NE London - although their stringing leaves a lot to be desired. Tennis Nut in Middlesex (complete opposite sides of London) - also have a big online site too. They are the two that springs to mind. However, travelling from one to the other will take a long time, especially with the OG going on at the same time.
Hi, my name seems to have snuck on without my knowledge I doubt I will be able to attend as I'll be busy with a house move round about then. hope it all goes well, though.
I haven't heard about United Sports, but I know about tennis nuts, ESP having already been tere myself The other two I know are Millet Sports in North London in Mill Hill Broadway and Sweatband near Warren Street
