Starting from R1, every player who has the good fortune to meet Lin Dan will also have a realistic chance of beating him as well. As Tey Seu Bok said Lin Dan will probably be at 80% of his best, so all the best to his opponents, make the most of it.:)

That means that he was originally entered, but withdrew before the draw was made.

I am able to see another japanese teenanger here, Aya Ohori. Its very interesting. She is just 16. Definitely she should be something, otherwise, japan would not send teenagers continuously. In the NewZealand open last week, we were able to find one more teenager who is just 15. My goodness. Like Thailand, japan has started to produce many youngsters .. Tomorrow, Aya is going to meet her compatriot and tough nut Eriko hirose in the first round. If she clears her, definitely, she should be fantastic.. Lets see how she does tomorrow.:)

Dan'S 80% is enough to win. The question is would he be hungry enough to win or just tune up for the up coming world championship.

Chen Long is super strong right now, it may not be enough a 100% Lin Dan to win him.

I doubt if they would meet in the final, CBA will not let it happens. Barring anything tragic happens to Dan, I don't see Chen Long beating Dan in a major event.

INA will be represented by junior players in MS, one of which (Ihsan) will probably be also selected for AJC & WJC this year:
    Panji Akbar Sudrajat
Thomi Azizan Mahbub - he has the best draw and will possibly progress to R16!
    Shesar Hiren Rhustavito
    Ihsan Maulana Mustofa

As for WS, MD and WD, INA representatives will have tough draws and it's possible they will all lose today.

In XD, 1 top pair is sent by PBSI: Fran Kurniawan/Shendy Puspa Irawati [5], while Markis Kido/Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth [4] will have tough matches tomorrow (esp for Kido/Pia possibly against another scratch pairing from CHN). The other 2 pairs sent by PBSI are Lukhi Apri Nugroho/Annisa Saufika (winner of Osaka IC 2013) and the newly formed Edi Subaktiar/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja (both were WJC winners in XD)

I heard that Annisa Saufika is a good player and she might play in both WD and XD. Lukhi/Annisa are expected to reach R16.

Two INA youngsters Vito and Thomi passed first round hurdle. Next, Vito will meet most likely Tanongsak while Thomi has favorable draw to meet Uzbekistan MS as Sho Sasaki withdrew.

i think it would be better if they removed the empty plate and half-full glass before taking the photo? just my personal opinion though.
