May i know how is the feel of these shoes when you are playing a game? I am thinking of getting a pair, but I would like to know if the sole is high(thicker) or low(thinner)? I have both the SHB100 and 101 and higher sole exemplifies SHB101, and lower sole SHB100. I prefer the lower sole as it gives me a solid stand and grip to the floor when playing. Wearing the SHB101 feels kinda like wearing heels and it feels unstable as if I am about to topple over. Please advise. thank you.
I think the soles are slightly higher. Not too bad but it had a different feel to the SHB100. Might just be that the old shoes were worn down a little. I don't think I'll have a problem adjusting but everyone is different.
IIRC Lee Chong Wei switched from using the SHB-99LO (JP version of the LTD) to the SHB-65CF recently (well not before trying out the SHB-200WM then the SHB-101LTD). I hope ants will give some comment on this; he did own the SHB-99LO before and is now using the SHB-65CF.
I don't usually believe the pros. They may even say the new half-sleeved shirts improve their performance
Personally for me.. the 65CF is the most comfortable shoe i wear so far. It has the most power cushion embedded in the shoe compare to the other Yonex models.
Very comfy, about on par with SHB100ltd for me. Insoles are very nice, better than any YY shoes I've owned. Oh and they look great!
Yes I already saw that pic at the order page but hoping to see some "actual" pics of the other version. Which is the "white/black" for you? The catalogue calls them black/gold and black/yellow.
SHB-85 & 65CF Black/Yellow Free Image Hosting by ImageBam.com Must say not bad looking in the other colour as well (right). Initially though the left ones were fake but Ants had already mentioned these as SHB-85 before. Another tiny difference is the Power Cushion writing on the side of the sole is bevelled here as opposed to normal print on the 65 (or does it just look that way??). Any idea if it will be introduced as SHB-85 for the rest of the world? (Hope not )
