Tom Cheung, aka as AH Tung, of Inksysport says that he can get hold of supplies of AT800, DE and OF, SP version sometime next week. If so I hope this will quench the pent-up demand in Hong Kong. As the AT800 is priced at the AT700 price in Japan, I would think the AT800/A700 price parity will also prevail in Hong Kong. If the AT800 is priced higher than the AT700, then maybe we should wait a little for the supply/demand law to iron out the kinks.

Just checked with Inskysport on the price of the Amortec 800 SP version and he gave a tentative quote of HK$1,070 (presumedly strung with BG85 or BG68Ti). Told him to do better, like something closer to the AT700 SP price.
I understand in Japan, the AT800 is discounted at a lower price than the AT700. |

I think HK seems always get new models earlier than North America, but seems not this time.
Already saw 2 lady players using AT800 (OF) in club last sat. ![]() |

Luxis also has them now. I dunno with Inksysport but luxis do accept credit card and ship overseas. They have fast and reliable service. Your racket would arrive in excellent condition.

It looks like the AT800 price in Hong Kong is being driven up by higher than expected demand. I was quoted a price of HK$1,070 just a few days ago, but it is now close to HK$1,150. Someone just ordered 50 AT800 from Inskysport at HK$1,070 each, which probably caused the price to go up. Meantime, the AT700 is not selling well inspite of its very reason price of only HK$890.
