Default Singapore Armortec 800 price update.

Queensway Shopping Centre (Gala Sports) has the above SP version (no Sunrise sticker, so you know what I mean) for below S$299 before bargain.

Only Defensive 3U/G4 available and a few available.

I do not get it. Why would anybody want to waste their money buying a fake product?

I guess what is meant is that it is a parallel import.....
but then what is the harm of telling everyone that it is a TH racket ?

i thought sunrise just implemented the sticker recently so most of the rackets selling in the market are real and not parallel import, just that they are of earlier batch.

This is what I meant, is a parallel import, as those with "sunrise" stickers are all above S$345.

It is SP version for the DE model.

I still have not seen any Singapore shop displaying fake Yonex rackets openly. The penalty is too heavy if caught.

Some price diffferences, the SP version here will come with a better looking bag as shown in ants post.
While the TH version you can get will be the same as the Armortec 700, 500, 300....version.

But will the TH version will perform just as well as the SP version, right? I mean, after all, both versions are made by Yonex! So, why is there such a great price difference? Or is it because of the bag we are paying extra? Could it be?

I have the JP DE version now. And the TH OF version too. Both are great performance racquets.

So expensive for SP version in Spore. I got it around S$220 Sp version.

ants, where did you get your SP version? $220 sounds like it is a TH version( on the cone , I mean.).

i think i saw an AT 800 DE here already. The seller gave me B$300 as the final price. I didn't check the serial number, or whether it was real or not. SP version if not mistaken too. =)

The Yonex did not market their products by themselves, instead through appointed regional distributors. Any Singapore shops who retail the SP version from Sunrise told me their costs is well above S$300. So some shops import from neighbouring countries which were actually exported from Singapore. And surprisingly, it is very low price.
