Does anyone have one of these on CD that they could convert to MP3 and make available?
Or could someone generate an MP3 with bleeps at the appropriate times? I couldn't bring myself to spend money for one (even if it is 5 times longer than John Cage's silent work). Before I attempt a DIY version, I wonder if anyone out there has a copy. |

Thats a good link Neil thanks, let us know how you get on with it
![]() The bleep test is useful for measuring personal improvement of the vo2 max component but is not valid for absolute measurement of fitness for badminton. A similar test which Henman uses is outlined on the bbc website and doesn't need a cd: Mark out a 20m shuttle run. Complete as many repitions in 1 minute as possible. Rest a min. Repeat the above 5 times. Record total scores. |

not bad for an old overweight asthmatic though. While looking for an mp3 of the bleeps, I ended up on a UK Police website. quote "Policing has never been an easy occupation. As a police officer you will be expected to perform a number of physically demanding tasks on a daily basis, for this you will need to possess a certain level of fitness." They use a 15m track and the pass level is 5.4 (3.5 minutes of work) |
