Default Will u take NS8000 over ARM800

Hi,

I have the Yonex Armortec 800 4U/G4 for about 6 months..
the racket is still performing, but will you get the NanoSpeed 8000 over it?

Actually is NS8000 better for single or double? and talking about smashing and control, which one will perform better?

I've tried both NS8000 and AT800 DE and OF, and since I have a preference towards the Slim 10, I would have to go with the NS8000. I play both singles and doubles using the Slim 10, although it is more for singles.

For doubles, I would still prefer the AT800 because they are able to generate more power all things being equal, and as of now, I'm going to say they're more durable until someone can prove that the NS8000 is durable as well (Slim 10s are always breaking on me).

Smashing will definitely be better on the AT800s but for control, that all depends on how you like your rackets, i.e. head heavy, head light etc.

For control, I'd definitely prefer the NS8000, although the AT800 DE is quite close behind.

For singles i would go for NS8000. But for Doubles , AT800 OF is still my preferred choice.

According to this chart..

NS8k should have the same or more smashing power as the AT800

I don't think you'll go wrong with buying NS8k

Don't base your choice on charts. Try it and feel it!

I don't think this chart in anyway says that the higher you are up on the chart the more power you have. Yonex has officially stated in black and white that the NS8K (power rating 4) has less power than the AT800s AT700, MP99, MP100, MP88 and MP77, and NS7K (power ratings all 5).

I know the higher you can in the chart the more powerful u can get from smashing. that's y AT800OF and MP100 are on top.
This time NS8K is at top too. and now it move a little to the right. means it is better in single.

I don't know if i switch from 4U to 3U will give me more power in smahsing.?!?!!

Sunrise had just called me this morning regarding the 5,4,5 being misunderstood. They will be feeding me with some information, upon receiving it, will post it to the forum.

NS8000 is supposed to be more superior than NS7000.

Thanks.

All Yonex's top racquets have always been given the maximum power rating of 5, the exception being the Nano8K. Only an official statement from Yonex Japan on a misprint will allay doubts. It will be interesting to find out what Sunrise or Yonex Japan have to say about this.

can you post this . Its easy to claim but without proof i dont believe you. And if its true i would say its a trick to sell their stuff. Have tried both mp 100, 99 and 88 and 88 is no near as powerful as the other.

I dont quite agree with you. I too have the 88/99. But i do not think the power difference is that noticeble. The 99 is stiffer, but i like the flexibility of the 88.

But Back to the topic, i have an 800 OF and now a 8000. I think that the 8000 is a better racket. The Smashing power is incredible, the shots are crisp and the feel is amazing (once you get your timing correct). You wont regret buying it.
