Hi all...
I need a little guidance in buying a new racquet here. Currently I am using MP28 with BG65. But earlier today I borrowed an Aerotus 77 sp with BG85, and it seems that this racquet suit me much much better, my mp28 feels like crap compared. Tried searching on the specs of the Aerotus, but not much is found on the web. I suspect this racquet is a old model and would be difficult to find on the stores. So, could anyone recommend me some yonex racquets which is as similar as possible with that of Aerotus. What are the specs anyway? (like head/bottom heavy, overall weigth, iso design or not?, flexible shaft?) And also, is it true that isometric design is better for beginners like myself? My friend say isometric design have larger sweet spot, but I find the Aerotus much easier to play with. Thanks ![]() Last edited by rmulyadi : 05-29-2005 at 08:08 AM. |

Hi, personally I own 2 Aerotus 110 and like it very much, Aerotus 110/100 is somehow even balanced to me. The Aerotus features wide body but traditional head shape. Wide body for fast head speed. If you can find Ti6, try Ti6(It's wide body. Ti8 also but slightly head heavy). If you like to have another balanced Yonex with traditional head shape, try Carbonex 20.

I can't answer the aerotus question but ...
Isometric DOES give you a larger sweetspot, forgiving mishits. In my opinion it's a good thing to have iso for beginners to help them play better. |

Thanks you two...
I've decided to try out stringing BG85 to my Mp28 first. If I still find it unsatisfactory then I will look at the carbonex or the titanium series for replacement. Thanks again. ![]() |
