I have BG68Ti on mine at 24 lbs tension, but this is the way I like it.

You might require a different string at a different tension. It took me a quite a few combination before I arrived on this one, but I will still continue to look at different strings.

Once you try BG-85 @ 29lbs. you may never go back.

I've already converted 5 people.

I have my MP99 strung with BG85 at 28lbs. However, such high tension might not be for everyone. It can take some time to get use to the high tension. Something like 23-24lbs for BG85 feels easier to start off with and play in my opinion. I have tried BG66 at 25lbs but for me, BG85 has more "feel". Not to mention that BG66 breaks rather quickly...

Sawyer: yes, excellent point. I should have mentioned 28-29lbs. may take some getting used to.

Neo: BG-66 because it comes in black? I didn't know color coordination was such an important aspect of Badminton.

I've seen someone with MP99 and black strings and it looks like heaven!

I got my MP99 back from the stringer today but the down side is.

They do NOT have BG66 at ALL. They do NOT have BG85 in blue or yellow, they only have it in white ... I had to settle with white BG85.. The color I hate most lol..

It's said to be at 25main27cross.. But it doesn't feel very different from my other racquet which is BG80 at 23lb... =\
