Default Need help to verify MP99

My brother bought me a MP99 with a GR code, a code which I have not tried before. Can someone please help me to verify the validity of the serials numbers? 4762540 090242GR

There is also a small difference in the position of "Muscle Power" letters on both sides of the frame (see picture).

In addition, my MP100 is printed as MP100sp on the shaft. What does this "sp" means ? There is no suffix on the MP99 shaft, is it also the country code?

The carry case is also different to my MP100's. The MP100 case has horizontal "Muscle Power" in gold and tilted "UltimumTi" in grey.

The MP99 case has also horizontal "Muscle Power" in gold but the font is a bit different. Also, the tilted letters are again "Muscle Power" instead of "UltimumTi".

Many thanks,

wing-hong

From the looks of it, it's real.
GR means Germany I think... And for your MP100.... sp on the shaft just means it was distributed from Sunrise. Which is a company located in singapore

The GR means Germany, my MP100 is gr and is very real. But the bag looks different from mine, especially since mine is a painted one not embroidered!

I had a typo error I = It .

pb_aznstyle said what I wanted to say...I don't think the serial is fake either.

I have posted a thread on Fake MP99 sometime on the last month. You can refer and compare.

Well, there are different types of racquet case bags.

Could you post more pictures of the racquet?

From the looks of it, I say it's real.

I have a real MP99 on hand and it looks identical

I had a real MP99 CD and I must say your's looks very real. The color is spot on, and the font and decal location all look right. Now go out there and enjoy it on the court!

It's almost impossible to use the bag to identify whether a racket is real or not. A fake seller can use the "real" bags to pack his fake crap, on the other hand, a real racket might be packed into a totally different bag for whatever reason.

Totally agreed. I have seen sellers who bought lots of genuine carrying bags to "cover" his fake rackets.

However, it would be weird to see a genuine racket inside a fake bag. So:
1. If you see a genuine bag, the racket might still be a fake one.
2. If you see a fake bag, it is most likely to be a fake racket inside.

What i mean, is not just for sell purpose. Many ppl tend to use just a head cover for their racket, when put into the thermal bag. Or, if they lost the original bag, they can simply get whatever bag u can find, to pack their babe(s).
