I know i kept going on about the amount of unforced errors in the TH / CH match, but by comparison this match had very few unforced errors. Therefore the points must have been truly won!

As this was on a TV court I cant wait to see it. It must have been brilliant. Can anyone get it up onto Badmintontorrents.com please!

IMO u need a little bit of luck in any sports and today LCW didnt have it. Look, he shud have wrapped it up in 2 sets . He was palying so well in the first and at game point he hit 2 sideline smashes jsut wide. If it had been an inch inner he wud have wrapped up the match by winning the 1st set.

In the last set he had a bad line call at a crucial point in the set. He kinda lost his cool by throwing the racket onto the floor. Have u seen him do this before? This also upset his rythem an d at the same time boosted BCL's.

What else can I say, better luck at the next tournament. I am so sad :crying:

Well, seems Li Mao and LCW are paying price for concentrating on LD in the past year. His ability of beating other players are deteriorating. First almost lost to CJ, now lost to BCL. Ability-wise, LCW should be able to win easily but he gave BCL chances.

But we see LCW continuously improving. And I support LM/LCW to concentrate on LD even longer. I hope LM's big plan is these are all preparations for 2008.

I heard his preparation for this tournament wasn't so smooth. Perhaps the HK Open took a lot out of him physically. Another thing is this hall seems to have a lot of wind. I just feel LCW's play can be affected a bit more by this because of his style of play. He is a more 'precision' type of player which is affected by the wind.

    I am disappointed.

    Was watching just now....

In the 3rd set, LCW seemed to be affected by 2 line calls. Both calls were near the end of the 3rd set and he even threw his racket on the ground!

Same here.. personally i think LCW take too much risks knowing that there is wind in the stadium. He is trying to be too precise with his smashes. However even 1cm out is still consider out. But all credits goes to Bao as he took the advantage of the situation.

He prepares a long time for this tournament. It's important preparation for the Olympics to experience the final stages of the WC.

i havent seen this match but i believe lcw had peaked already. More training only add exhaustion for him. The wind problem is moot because it affect both sides. Given lcw is more of an attacking player, the wind should affect him the least. If the wind truly affectling his laser beam smashing, he should make some adjustment along the game. Bao's weakness is mental, and he is improving that year by year. My guess is bao can take H.I Lee as well

LCW lost because he has no control over the wind~
Did u see one shot where Bao made a desperate save the shuttle curl all the way back haha...
Bao control better thus won the game!
The wind is getting worst and worst everyday...
1st day the drift was one direction only.. now it is blowing facing camera and towards the right (SouthWest)

the wind is a problem... but all players are faced with it so each of them will have to adjust to it!

LCW looked off form. His movements were hesitant and sluggish. On any other day he would've finished BCL. Oh well... maybe next year...

(Also-the Malaysian media really put too much pressure on the M'sian players. All saying that our guys would take the titles. It always backfires-just like the latest Thomas Cup fiasco)
