To the Current NS8000 lovers in US and Canada,

As you know by now, the 2008 NS8000 will have a new paint job and I really don't like it. I am thinking about putting together an group order for the current 2007 NS8000 racquet (3UG4 US version). I would like to know if there is enough interest to put together a group order. Please reply to this post or PM me.

Thanks and have a nice week.

I may be interested. I will need to know the total cost of it first to decide.

With group order, I think I can get it down to $145 USD (max) per frame. Shipping to US is $10 fixed and $15 USD to Canada fixed. I need to make it more than 10 NS8000 to make this a group order. I can also order other racquet with this order too. It just I want to make a NS8000 group order first. You may piggy back any racuqet on the same shipping.

Shoot...a couple months ago I would've jumped at this opportunity, but I have found a new love in my AT900T...*sigh*

Rest in peace my fragile NS8k.

BTW, what does the new NS8k look like? The original color scheme makes the NS8k one of the most handsome badminton rackets ever IMO.

On the other hand, i think the new colour is something out of the norm, something different from the usually black and white rackets.:D

Usually color change means that Yonex would would be phasing out sometime in the future.

I think the black and the yellow would actually look attractive on the courts. I like the color pattern on that arc saber tho.

I think that belief is antiquated. Many rackets that never went through color change have been phased out and many that did get a color change have yet to be phased out for quite some time now. Look at the MP88, AT700, And even the Ti-10 has retained a name, though its a totally different racket now. And those are just the high end rackets. While other high end rackets just stop production without ever changing, or really much notice, like the Iso 900s, Slim 10, and the "so-called stopped" MP100.

From my source and what I have been told, no difference between AT700 new color vs AT700 old color. Same as for NS7000 which went through the color change already. There is no word or indication on NS8000 because the adjustments were made after the first batch. Yonex is seeing a lot less defect return for NS8000 now. The new paint job is just new paint job.

I want to group order the old one because I just hated the new one. So if you want to special order any racquet, please order a NS8000 with it.

Actually MP88 is gone - no longer in the international catalog.

Just get the new color ^.^. Not like one will notice the color or details when when you're swinging it at high speed becauise all you see is a blur and you are not staring at it during the swing.

I am second to support the new color for NS8000. Too bad I don't like NS rackets, otherwise, I don't mind to get the new ones. ;)
