Yonex Bay Area Open Spring 2008

We would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming Yonex Bay Area Open Spring 2008 that will take place on February 15-17, 2008 at Smash City Badminton Club.

The previous Yonex Bay Area Open Fall 2007 has over 390 players participated. Well... this time we want to limit to approximately 300 players to ensure the staff and the players (especially the juniors) enjoy the tournament.

Friday ( U12 Boys Singles, U12 Girls Singles, D Men's Doubles, D Women's Doubles )
Saturday ( AMS, AWS, AWD, AMD, AMX, All other singles )Sunday ( ALL A Semi Finals and Finals, All other doubles )​

Flights

A, B, C, D and Junior U12. Flights in Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Some events might be modified, combined or canceled as necessary.​

Limitations & Restrictions

U12 Boys & Girls Singles is restricted by age. Player MUST be under 12 years on February 15, 2008 to play in this event.​

U12 Boys & Girls Singles cannot play in other singles events. If you enrolled in U12 singles event, you cannot play in A/B/C/D singles events.​

There is a mistake when posting the schedule of play. The correct schedule is printed below. Schedule is subject to change. Please check website for the most current one.

FRIDAY: U12 Boys Singles, U12 Girls Singles, D Men's Singles, D Women's Singles

SATURDAY: All A/Open Events up to Quarter Final, B/C Men's Singles, B/C Women's Singles, B/C/D Mixed Doubles

SUNDAY: A/Open Semi Finals and Finals, B/C/D Men's Doubles, B/C/D Women's Doubles

Theme of Yonex Bay Area Open Spring 2008

The theme for this year reflect from last year movies. I guess we loved those comic superheroes... Kids will be kids.

Lastly, February 1st is the LAST day to register and get the FREE Super T-shirt, FREE USBO badminton calendar, and registration to the raffle for Yonex products.

Last day to register for the tournament is February 5th.
