When browsing the member list, I can see New User, Regular User, Moderator, Admin, and Registered Users. Just curious, what is Registered Users?

It depends on the settings for the entire forum, with different titles for different number of posts or the period registered....

i think, a regular member has been a member for more than a year, and a registered member has been a member for less than a year. The mods are the mods and the admins are the admins. :p
It would be cool if we could have custom user titles. Like.. I can be 'the beginner'. hehe

If you look at the first page of members list, there are members joined in 2006 and still "New Members". Some joined in 2007 are "Regular Members". I think it depends on the # of posts and nothing to do the year they join.

New Member -> Registered User -> Regular Member

I vote that whoever thinks Registered or Regular users are somehow inferior or something, to bump up their status to "Special Exemplary users," then close the thread :D

Hehe - this brings to mind Alanis Morissette's "Isn't this ironic!":p:D:D

Actually - the reviews section also shows registered users where the older reviews were posted, without a member ID, I assume these are users who haven't logged on for a really long time and their profile was deleted?

I'm regular... but my post counts are way lower... Maybe you have to be active for 1 year to be regular?

Sure not. But just curious. I don't mind the admin/mod closing this thread if no one knows the answer.

My wild guess is to be a "regular", you need to log on very often for a long period of time. Maybe even need to post a certain number of times.

Browsing through using "posts" as sort, most of the members in the 1st several pages are "regular" besides 1, and he joined the forum for less than 1 yr. Therefore, I think to be "regular", u need the total timeline, frequency of visits as well as posts contribution.

    Ok, back to work... :D

    Should we really be concerned??..

...all i know is: New, Registered, Regular members are all treated equally, fair & square in this forum. Registered offenders, erm, i mean members don't have any more special treatments/privileges over New or Regular members, well, except maybe more PM storage capacity. Meaning, kwun and the rest of the mods have the ultimate power to delete, edit our posts/threads and yes, even ban any of the members here.. *gulp*
