Correct me if I am wrong...
I think the Chinese national team was always sponsed by Yonex. Therefore, their top elite players (of course, including Sun Jun and Ge Fei, back then) all using Yonex rackets. Then, how come Victor can use Sun Jun (and Ge Fei)'s name as their rackets? Is that against Yonex's contract with those players? Or, they put their names on after they official retired? But didn't Ge Fei retired after 2000??? |

But I assumed that was after 2000... How did they get to sign contract with Victor in 2000??? I mean, the racket says, "sun jun 2000"...

They retired from the national team after the Olympics. However, they still played for the Province after that.
I beleive Yonex only sponsors the national team. Below that level, players are not obliged to use Yonex. |

Not sure about the contract situation lazy but I just got Sun Jun 2000 and Fung 2000 from Taiwan yesterday. I think Ge Fei 2000 is actually discontinued last time I checked online.
