hey Clinton! We are planning on coming, but the more important question for us is... what are the plans for the dinner and the party??? Is it going to be just dinner at a restaurant like last year, or will there be an actual party at someone's house??

The 2004 WA Open will be May 21-23 at the Pro Club (same place as previous year).
I'll post the detail when the entry is out. |

Also, BMS was saying that quite a few of the Vancouver BFers will be heading down to the tournament, either as spectators or as players. So who'd be going?

Daffodil tournament will be April 17-18 at Tacoma (50 minutes south of Seattle).
Last year, the first place in open gets $100 and $50 for runner up if I remeber correctly. I'll post the detail when the entry is out (late March). |

Yes, the Cloverdale gang and a bunch from Collingwood went down to the WA Open last year.
In fact, during my Xmas Baddy session, we discovered that Mr. & Mrs. 15Love was also in the same Hotel having the continental breakfast at the next table! (it's a small baddy world!)I made the group Hotel booking for the Collingwood bunch plus a few more and we were able to save a few dollars more than expected. So after the Collingwood Open House on April 4th, I will be looking for players who want to car-pool down to WA, plus do a group Hotel booking again. As the numbers get larger we could get a better rate. This could also be the opportunity for someone needing to find a partner to play in the tourny! Cheers! |
