Pros:
Cons:

An excellent all around racket, with balance and weight suitable for both offensive and defense play.

The SOTX Power Boss Woven 12 is a perfect example of Woven technology. Woven rackets are made from a combination of 800D high-grade carbon fibre and fibreglass; this combination, \"woven\" together, produces significant elasticity compared to traditional high-modulus graphite. The end result is more \'bang\' per hit, and yet, the racket maintains a highly tuned sense of vibration dampening while having a distinct feeling of control and stability.

The head of the racket is isometric, giving it an enlarged sweetspot to enhance consistency of your impacts.

Suitable for intermediate and advanced players, with a stiffer feeling for direct power transfer and control.

The Woven 12 Special Edition has all the same specifications as the Woven 8/8a-- meaning, it has the same balance point, length, overal weight and flex. However, while the Woven 8/8a is made from High Modulus Graphite with Woven technology, the Woven 12SE is made from SOTX\'s patented SuperCarbon and Woven. Supercarbon is basically SOTX\'s next-generation High Modulus Graphite.

While swinging a Woven 12SE feels exactly the same as swinging the Woven 8, the difference is most noticible in the impact: the Woven 12SE is even more stable than the Woven 8/8a against torsion, and transfers more stroke energy into the bird.

Thanks to the added stability during impact, the Woven 12SE is more responsive to your strokes\' intentions, making it overal more accurate (though higher consistency).

More stability also means that strong players who felt they had to \'hold back\' because of racket vibration and torsion will have an easier time, as even with high powered strokes the racket will resist torsion—meaning, the Woven 12 helps remove the \"limitations\" of powerful players due to fears of inaccuracy due to vibration.

Simply put, the Woven 12 is the enhanced version of the already exceptional Woven 8/8a: more powerful, more stable and more accurate, thanks to the SuperCarbon element.

I\'ve used almost all of the Woven series before, and this one, along with the Woven 8 and 13, are my personal favorites.

Pros: control, power, feel
Cons: none so far

Very impressed with this racquet. Picked up 2 of these after trying pretty much the whole yonex line. More solid feel and power than nanospeeds. frame packs enough power that you can crank up the string tension for more control and still have the power needed. Best racquets I've owned to date.
