The model name is Mizuno Wave smash-rp. As the ad says, effective court coverage from corner to corner. Very light weigh, stable heel support. The wave technology used in these shoes makes it almost like having a built-in orthotic arch support(usually used by professional athletes and designed by sports-med doctors). The gum sole is tacky and gives good grip when playing on wood or rubber matted courts. The ventilation system (using breathable fabric, several vent holes in the leather and even under the sole) is also very effective in keeping the feet from getting soaked in perspiration.
as the shoe is also \"mid-cut\" and owing to its effective heel design, it prevents the foot from rolling sideways during latteral movements, therefore preventing injury. Only negative is the comparatively thin forefoot sole area but i was told that having a low center of gravity makes the wearer move effectively. Best used as competition shoes.
