According to spec, the Carbonex 20 Muscle is a stiff and balanced regular length oval racquet. It comes in 2U and 3U weight with a Hi-modulous graphite frame and a graphite shaft. Comparable to Classic CAB 20 except for the muscle power frame.
The CAB 20 MS is an excellent choice for the aggressive veteran smasher. It's an advanced racquet requiring some time to adapt. Sweet spot is somewhere off-center in the middle top of the face. Control is not as easily attained as using isometric racquets. It's powerful but requires an experienced hand to release its potential. I have strung mine at 23lbs with BG70 PRO, I have yet to find out the tension threshold.
CAB 20 MS' main strength lies in its versatility. Well suited for singles due to ease of clearing, it fares reasonably against lighter racquets in doubles for the punch it can pack and the ease of defending.
However, once mastered and given the right string... the racquet will perform as well as other top of the line Yonex racquets.

Power: Decent enough. Clear is deep, smash is powerful, if u hit the sweet spot. However, 2U is a little bit heavy for me, my swing speed is sig. decreased. Also, tired my arm out easily.
Control: To me, this is the best part of the racket. I think this more or less have to do with the stiffness of the shaft. Net tactic is accurate.
Speed: Major draw back. It's my fault to get a 2U instead of 3U (very hard to find in US). I can't get enough swing speed out of it, and quickly tired out my arm.
Overall: If I can get a 3U, I think I should like it, and maybe I will even give a "10" instead of "8". Decent combo of power and control, with relatively low price compare to other high end Yonex models (MP, AT, etc).

Sorry about the double posting... I forgot to mention that I have played with both 2U and 3U. Currently, I am very satisfied with a 2U CAB 20MS.
Difference between the two racquets is that the lighter one is stronger defensively, power shots is also decent. However, the heavier version can be strung at a higher tension and have far superior power.

Hmm i always had high expectations of teh racket and sicne i bought it.. i could not really get used to it.. its just that its hard to get the racket to hit to the baseline.. hmm... using 2u.. but nonetheless tif ur looking for a strong racket in the cab series.. this should be the one.

I have not tried many rackets, just 4-5 types so far. I found this Cab20MS powerful and easy to control. Although i bought 2U version, I have no difficulty in clearing and smashing. It\'s also easy to control the shuttle when playing net shots.
The only prob I found is that this racket might not be appropriate for defending. Maybe I have weak wrist,. Some times I cannot get the racket to the shuttle ontime, especially in the mid-court, because of the heavy weight

I previously had a Carbonex 23 which was my favourite racquet until someone stole it  Learning how to use this racquet was tricky at first since it was the light version. You will quickly realize that you can make some pretty impossible defensive returns that no other racquet can do as well as it takes longer to tire out your arm during play. I know that the 2U version is heavier and produces more power, but the 3U light version requires a little more input to generate the power that you need. It\'s been almost a year playing with the racquet and I\'ve finally injured my arm All I have to say is that the light weight version is definately not a powerhouse racquet and using it for prolonged smashes = has consequences...

This racquet gives me a lot of power on clearing and smashing, control on the net is very sharp,backhand not a problem. Only problem that I found is the timing on the smash, but when you spend a little more time on it you will how out its potentiality, and you will love it and don\'t let it go.:wink: I\'m waitting for Yonex will have a longer length version on this racquet.

I\'ve upgraded from a nearly 16 year old CAB15, which weighed nearly 110gms with strings and overgrip!!
I\'ve spent about 10 hours with this racquet now, playing roughly 20 games, mainly doubles. I\'m still trying to get used to the lighter weight and my swing speed is still adjusting but improving. However, IMO, this racquet is extremely well balanced. I find it neither too heavy nor too light. By my rough calculations, balance point is somewhere around the 298-300mm mark.
My net game has certainly improved slightly, mainly I think due to the lighter weight but also the better control I could get over my old racquet. My net pushes and flicks were a little more consistent because I could get the racquet to the birdy quicker.
My smashes were faster on the whole, when I could get the timing right  Having said that, since I am used to oval heads anyway, the forgiveness of mishits is a moot point for me. Although, the CAB 20MS was definitely a lot more forgiving than the CAB 15 when I did mishit. Now I just have to work on the angle of my smashes :P I also think the extra stiffness of the CAB20MS helps in the speed of my smashes.
My baseline clears were certainly easier with the CAB20MS. I feel it might be due to the faster head speed I was able to generate as I have started to learn to play with my forearms and wrist more lately. However, as a consequence of the lighter weight, my fast drops have become crappy and that\'s being nice to myself. I think I will overcome this issue with time though... well, I\'m hoping so anyway
Overall, I love this racquet and will certainly keep playing with it. The only thing I will do (and this is personal) is to change the strings to BG66 and string it to about 23lbs as that is the string/tension combo I\'m used to playing. I would recommend this racquet for the more aggressive player, either singles or doubles. However, it is definitely not a beginners racquet but if you can keep improving (like I hope I can) and practice all the basics until they become second nature, this racquet will reward.

After using a mp 99 for a year before moving to an armortec 800 of i decided to try out a carbonex 20 ms (3U), much easier to defend with and the control i gained on my shots was very impressive, only bad thing with racket is that you can\'t get as much power into smashes as with an armortec 800 of, i find it great for singles due to the control it offers.

BG 66 @ 21~ (i am not 100% sure, but around there)
at first i didn\'t like it, becuz it seemed to me like another normal ordinary racket..., however, once i got used to it, it became a sniper. My smashes were faster and more accurate, my drops were more controlled, my attacking clears became better. some people say that this racquet is not as powerful as others but i think it\'s good, definitley for singles, or the smashing dude at the back for doubles. only possible complaint is the defence...since my version is 2U, sometimes i don\'t react quick enough, but when i do, i can perform a controlled counter-drive changning defensive play to offense for my partner (in doubles), so far it\'s one of my favourite racquets
