    MEN'S DOUBLES
    Fernando Kurniawan/Lingga Lie
[1] vs Cheah Soon Kit/Ong Beng Tiong -- a big match for Edo/Lingga....can they progress to their first GP Final? Speed and power should be the emphasis and I hope Edo/Lingga can beat the veteran MAS pair.

Chen Hung-Ling/Lin Yu-Lang vs Wifqi Windarto/Afiat Yuris Wirawan [2] -- although an all-INA Final is on the card, I think the TPE pair holds an edge over the young INA pair. Let's see if Wifqi/Afiat can prove me wrong tomorrow!

More chance to see Djarum's upcoming MD pairs in the Malaysia International Challenge next week:
    (1) Rizky Yanu Kresnayandi/Albert Saputra (19/18) -- they have beaten Rian/Yoke this year
    (2) Mohd Ulinnuha/Didit Juang Indrianto (17/17) -- Ulin's regular partner is Berry Anggriawan (also 17), who has been sick recently, so Ulin is partnered with Didit. I heard Ulin/Berry are Sigit Budiarto's favorite BD and they are primed for WJC debut next year. Didit's regular partner should be Seiko Wahyu Kusdianto (still 16) if I am not wrong.
    (3) Rahmat Adianto/Hendra (18/??)

It's an easy win for Fernando Kurniawan/Lingga Lie as they defeat the MAS uncles pair of Cheah Soon Kit/Ong Beng Tiong in straight-sets 21-12, 21-11. I hope they win the title tomorrow!

5 straight pts from the TPE pair at 6-10 make it 11-10 to their advantage at the break

The TPE pair proves that experience does count as they take the first set 21-16. Too many unforced errors from Wifqi/Afiat.

Once again, the TPE pair managed to overturn a 2 pts deficit at 8-10 to lead 11-10 at the break. Grrr....
