thx for the explanation. I don't follow XD rankings but i alway see XZB/ZYW as china's #1 or #2 XD pair.

since tony G, candra W were in HK, organizer should repeat the same celebrity short game with sally yeh and another HK star like they did in 2007

    i agree..
    compared to inconsistent HHB/YY
I prefer XZB/ZYW as the main CHN XD pair
now they already beat the olympic champions and also beat the current World champions & WR number 1 pair twice in a row

They could have been ranked higher if they were not asked to make way to HHB/YY. In fact, HHB/YY were in the top 4 by, ahem, team order.

Meanwhile, it looks like an exhibition match between LD & CJ.

LD influenced the umpire to call it a "let".

Xie Zhongbo/Zhang Yawen could not make it to the top 4 as they lost in the Badminton Asia Championships to Nova/Butet. That's why they kissed their OG hope goodbye.

It seemed to be difficult to control the shuttle from Lin's Side at first set......maybe the hall is windy..........And I think CJ knows Lin's Game very well, He's always been blocking him very well...
