Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen show why I pick them as the dark horse. If they can beat Fu Haifeng/Cai Yun today, then, I then they should be looking at the title.

Congrats to Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen.

They have been in pretty good form recently.

Not surprised they managed to win.... but surely it should have been a much closer encounter than this...... in particular the 1st set.

Boleh fans have to thank Mr. Villie Lang for his help in keeping the only Malaysian player LCW in this year's AE after quarter finals stage.

Don't forget to send a get well soon card to Sony.D.K as well... if he wasn't injured, good chance that the entire team of MAS players would have been on a shopping trip tomorrow altogether.;)

Will China be able to get a clean sweep? Will this be a first in AE history?

bananakid, firstly, a hearty "Ville Boleh" :D

Secondly, Sony was in no shape to play in this tournament. His injury was a lot more bothersome than has been let on (who would want to announce it anyway), so if he had decided to play, LCW would have had his way with Sony. So, no, Sony would have been a non-factor.

Let's not forget LD's path to the final was the easiest of the lot

China, Korea, Denmark, Malaysia, and Indonesia (alright, Russia too).
    Traditional badminton power, indeed.

Possible. But let's leave one title for other countries. MD is the hardest to predict.

    Consolation: 14 + 8 = 22. They virtually steal 1 set.
