To be honest, I love these two battling again. Accidentally, I joined watching badminton at last OG. I really was not understanding why all are so excited about a Final match with these 2, especially when LD won so easily ;). After this I watched a lot, and understood what it is about:)

Who has more motivation for now? LD has already won LCW at November, but he is in really good shape now, and just feeling to win all he participates in.
LCW on the contrary, still with a major hope to beat LD not only in Malaysia Open ;) and prove he is not false 1-ranked player. ANd he is also in pretty mobile shape now as I saw.

Do you think it will be a battle or.. smth else?

Ever since 2004, unless your last name is "Chen", otherwise you have no chance of beating Lin Dan in any All England championship.

Last year the person who defeated Lin Dan's last name was Jury (First name: In).
Mr. Jury seems to be pretty good at defeating All England holders: he took out Chen Jin this year too.

I only hope this will be a very close match and keep everyone guessing till the last point. More enjoyable for spectators and good for badminton. We don't need another OG final.

When Lin Dan up in the air smash , it reminds me of Former indonesia world no 1 Heriyanto Arbi, also when up smash , very few players can get his shot!:)

I'm still trying to figure out how Chong Wei can beat Lin Dan. If both of them play to their potential then Lin Dan has an edge with his thunderous smash. Chong Wei has an edge on his physically fitness but it's not easy to drag into rubber set against Lin Dan unless Chong Wei able to perform above average net play plus solid defense. You can't expect Lin Dan to beat himself(like Tine Rasmussen) with unforce errors, very uncharacteristic.
Only gambling solution is to play with Li Mao style, attack, attack and all out attack and catch Lin Dan by surprise and make him play defense. Easy to say than done :( Anyway, lets just hope this match can live up to expectation.

To me, no point discussing this topic as IF:
    1) LD wins, then those who are not a so-called "bolehian" will say...see, LCW is a fake world no.1, jaguh kampung, mentally weak etc etc...:p:p:p
    2) LCW wins, and when all the "bolehian" celebrate like crazy, the "non-bolehian" will say...LD is already a 3 times AE champion, he's not as hungry as LCW of the title. And, LD is a OG, WC, AE & lots of SS champions, how about LCW??? Bagging an AE title is nothing to value about etc etc...:D:D:D

But, I think LD has an edge.

No offense ya! So, just enjoy the game no matter what the outcome is! :):p;):D
