    Consistency

Why the need to merge them threads?? AE is AE and SO is SO. If we want to merge why dont we have one single thread for all matters pertaining to badminton under the sun titled something like 'Badminton now till OG 2012?'

Why target only the Boleh threads for the AE & SO only??? We need to be consistent. We cannot cherry pick.

I have no problems if boleh fans want to take only the positives and treasure this and that. I respect that. Boleh fans have their rights to voice their opinion/s, and though I may not agree with them I will defend their rights to voice them.

On the side note, while we are here saying treasure our shuttlers, love them, appreciate them and all, let me remind my fellow Malaysians that while public funds are being utilized to fund, train, develop these shuttlers out in the real world many Malaysians are facing hard economic times.

Well said...in MAS baddy, LCW eclipse all those players you mention above in achievements...in skill level I would even put Dato ahead of Tan Aik Huang whom I have seen played live in Negara Stadium and SBA Hall in Kampong Atap back in the 70's. Enjoy the LD, TH, PG and Dato cos when they are done and gone from the game, then we realize what we miss. I always said, I would gladly pay to see these guys play, only thing stopping me is travel distance and time.

Your post above clear a lot of my thoughts on the ten's of As in MAS students. Just today, in NST, a MAS student scored 19A1 and 1A2, that is 20As. How the heck can anyone study 20 subjects and score on all of them? they don't have to sleep anymore...it made me look stupid...when I took my MCE many decades ago, I studied my nuts...err! my brains off and I took home only 2 miserable As, and the rest ranged from C3 to a oops! P7 (almost bombed my exam). Needless to say, my score is not good enough for regular school and can only qualified for TAR College...those MCE was tough and you are right, the top student in my school can only scored 5As out of 8 subjects.

    Wow!

    Well done, LCW. Well done.

LCW's defence was superb today, out of this world stuff.
Now, we have a WR1 MS.

    Hold on to your horses.
    LCW won today, yes.
But the man still got a long way to go.
And like it or not, he has yet to win a major title.
Out of the last 6 meetings with LD, LD have won 5.
    Remember that, danielwong.

How major? Like OG? WC? Or the just finished AE? Just won once over LD after the OG nightmare, that's just not enough! LCW must win over LD consistently to stop those who commentted him as an 'average player'...:D

Hmm? I'm counting 4 LD (SO 08, OG, CO, AE) and 2 LCW (TC, SO 09).
LD still has the upper hand of course, but if there's one person that can beat him right now, that'll be LCW (not counting team's order :p).
