Anyone using RSL Classic Shuttlecock? Do you all noticed that the quality of the Classic shuttlecock had dropped recently?
This has being discussed before. Yes the durability has being dropping and price has being increasing.
good news to MAS's RSL enthusiast. 2009 series are coming to town in a short while. expecting end Mar or 1st of Apr. X3 Gold, X3 Silver, 9900, 9600, 9160 are expecting for the 1st batch. i am looking forward to grab either Gold or Silver, as i cant see the specs yet....
do they have good stock of RSL rackets ? I am trying to get X2 Blue 4U cos X2 gold is 2U ... I juz came back from Bt Tinggi Klang ..someone bought the last piece X2 blue off the shelf.
So sad, just tested my X2 gold last week but feeling a bit upset, smash power not that really i wish. Maybe is 1st time using still not that comfortable ba......will trying again and update.
what string on your X2 gold? and what is its tension? Lack of smash power may due to the tension itself. Next time try string it at 28lbs, with yonex BG66, you will notice the differences.
BG66 and tension 24lbs......but i got another racket "impact" same string and tension is fell more better. Btw consider to change the tension to 26 to 28 le.
I am not surprised at your feedback. The X2 Gold is a stiff racquet and unless you are a strong player that can swing very fast, you will find it very hard to use and even find that it doesn't generate alot of power.
I cant deny it. stiffer racket need faster swing speed when doing smash compared to the flex racket. ( high swing speed + stiff racket = more powerful ) For me, I am able to use the X2 gold for smashing so I personally think that string tension is more important for me, and also the thickness of the string ( I like thin string, like BG66).
Swing very fast....then i think i got a lot of home work to do le...since i already bought the X2 gold...haiz
Yah, guess you have to work hard at it. I learn this the hard way, as I have quite alot of stiff racquets which I can't used effectively. If you really want to get a stiff racquet, make sure it is head heavy, the balance point should be more than 290mm min, best is 300mm so that the head heaviness will help you bend the shaft.
Just play with my X2 blue after restring it with BG66 at 28lbs. Very nice and powerful. Can really feel the shaft bend during smash.
I never try BG80 before, so I cant comment it. But my stringer told me that BG 66 is the most popular string. Most of my friends are using BG66. The only weakness of BG66 is its poor durability.
