Pandemonium among the crowd as they jostle to get free gifts thrown by the Li Ning girls.

    I am leaving now.

Congrats to China winning Sudirman Cup again with 3-0 against Korea. And they win it in 2 matches that considered their weakest points. From XD and MD.

    Summary of the matches:

XD: I frown when I saw LYB pair up ZHeng Bo and Yu Yang. They are the best players in China XD but never paired before. The first set they make novice mistake that usually made by scratch pair. meanwhile LHJ give few easy points too. Though they try to chase the Koreans from large deficit, China pair lost first set. Second set, their work as pair shine thru and win leading all the way. The third set was quite gripping, score keep chasing one by one thru the middle of the game. Then China pair find some third gear and just never look back. Yu Yang play very well in third set. Maybe she should pair with ZB cause they will be hard to defeat.

MS: LD VS PSH. Like Lin Dan style, he play not as good as he play LCW but always in control. PSH play his best but lost in the end in straight set.

MD: What a thrilling match. CY/FHF racing in first set and win quite easily 21-14. In second set, they play in Korea hand by playing too many drive . LYD show some amazing skill here and win 21-17. Third set is thrilling from first point to end. China leading 11-8 in interval but Korean pair got 5 points in a row and leading thru 17-17. CY/FHF play a very well few last points. They keep focus and attack the shuttlecock if it only rise a little from the net and reap the reward in the end.

Korea definitely had the advantage from the matches line up by getting to play their stongest pairs. XD first then MD third. But China had near complete line up and again manage to win this CUp without lost any points like 2 years ago.

Absolutely a great game. Especially the Men's Doubles. I actually really hoped Korea would have won that Men's Doubles game cause they played such an outclassing game against Fu and Cai.

Oh well, guess its an ALL WIN for CHINA all the way..

Lin Dan got Eddie Chong Award. This is an award for the best badminton players (all from MS thru MX) in a year. BWF choose Lin Dan was the best in 2008.

Ironically he only rank third in the world right now. LOL
