Yeah, never mind. I will cheer for INA for you at Sudirman Cup semis/final, assuming that they don't meet MAS, of course ...... :D Yup, INA had always been a badminton squad worth supporting.

It was reported today in the local papers (Today) that Lindan and Taufik 'are likely to give the Aviva Open 2009 a miss' :crying:

It seems that there may be a dispute between Yonex Singapore ( Sunrise) and SBA...
I had been told that Yonex had advised some players not to participate Singapore in the last minute...for sure Hendra AG/Alvent and Taufik being asked to concentrate on INA open.....Taufik loves going to Singapore..

A pity, since the losers are the spectators and TV audience but we don't know the details. Maybe the bigger rivalry is between Yonex and Aviva, since the latter is the major sponsor and Yonex has been relegated to a minor role, unlike so many years before when Yonex dominated the Singapore badminton scene. :p

Why Lindan not coming? Jinx is it? Lousy excuse. The fans wants to see him in action. Someone pls call LYB to get him here. We want to see a rematch of LCW and LD. ;)

    ^^For LinDan..^^

..his absence in the SE Asia region tourneys has been pretty puzzling. He has literally avoided nearly half of the 3 major SE Asia tourneys, like a plague, in the last several yrs. His only major title from that region is the 2007 World Championships, with zero titles from the MAS Open (last appearance in 2007), S'pore Open (last appearance in 2007) & INA Open (this is the worst, his last appearance was in 2004!).
