hi there, tried my friend' 9600 last night,bg66 30lbs,had few smash and switched back to my 9500.didnt quite like it.the very first thing i always do when trying a racket is smash.even after 10 to 12 smashed with 9600,i still couldn't feel the power of it.however, its actually quite good at defense.i could return almost all the smash accurately to any corner i wanted.to me its a defensive racket.anyway, thinking of selling my 7320 and 8800 as i don't use it anymore.already sold my X2 blue to a friend from australia when he came to singapore last week.i think im stuck with my 9500!!

I'm looking for even balance racket, now i have rsl heat5700 and Diamond x2 AP,for me the Diamond x2 AP is slight head heavy n a little flex feel(i think:confused:) and i used the Diamond AP for single play because if i play in double, make my wrist reflect slow.I prefer the heat 5700 in double play, because it stiff n even balance. So i'm looking for even balance racket.Just thought want to replace the heat 5700(too old,got many scar n the gromet is poor:eek:)...if you have try the Diamond x2 AP,can u describe about it.

    sorry 4 my bad english

Shift the AP BP lower by wrapping more grip, becoming even-balance to headlight. Similar to 5700 would be X3 Sliver, 9600,9500,9180.

this is a head heavy racket, the weight if i'm not mistaken is 86-88g.i think this racket is a little too heavy 4 me and the laser series is for smasher i think..:)

    I think i'll go for 9600(drifit said it's a even balance racket)n 84-86g is the suitable weight 4 me.

Sure ? What if 9600 doesnt your appetite ? would you pass your dessert to me then ?

Let us hear your feedback after play with 9600. If the quoted even-balanced not accurate, we know who we will after to.....muahahah~!!!

Just kidding. Ok, let's be serious from now on !

    Double

    Hi,
I think RSL X3 Gold and x3 silver are suitable for double. Gold is slightly head heavy but can swing pretty fast whereas silver is even balance n swing pretty quick too.:p If u want better smashing power, then RSL Heat 9500 will be ideal.;)

Does'nt matter single or double play,as long as you got strong n good hand... My suggestion, try compared with your other owned racket(what kind of spec that your want-the weight, flex or stiff,evan-balanced or head heavy..etc)
    For me 9900 to heavy 4 me because i'm a skinny guy:p

Finally there's a 9500 user too:D i so agreed of what you said here.indeed,it's a very good racquet.the smashing power is just greatx3.doubles is all about fast.once you grabbed this racquet, you automatically become a good smasher and aggressive.

let me put it this way about the stiffness
    X2 BLUE - 8.5/10
    HEAT 9500 - 7/10
By the way,if you string anything that above 30lbs,it's really hard to tell or compare the stiffness between this 2 racquets when hitting the shuttlecock unless you bend it.

Depend on the personal skill. If you are powerful player, very strong wrist, you would say it is quite soft(shaft). Is quite hard to control the smashing angel (y direction).
I have x2 pro and laser 9900. when i use x2 pro to smash, i felt that the angel is match what i want. But when using laser 9900, i felt that there is "extra" force to push down the shuttlecock. So sometime angle of smashing is off per my expectation. (i just use laser 9900 for 2 weeks, maybe need time to figure out smashing timing).
Beside the smahsing, i think this is a good racket and easy to handle it.

I have both X3 Silver & 9500 and I think 9500 (stiffer than 3200, I think coz I also have one) is somewhere near your preference slight head heavy and mid stiff but fast on defence. I prefer my 9500 more but X3 Silver is the best looking racket for me. BTW, Silver is a bit heavier than 9500 so a bit harder to use (I'm small built). Thanks

    X3 - 9500

Guys, I just purchased 9500. I just want to ask the best tension you can recommend. I am more with smash and long/back drop.
    thanks.
