it's truly exciting, hayom will face yoga.... and, i think, it's time for fauzi adnan to prove his worth after several winning streak in national circuit. I still have some hope that fauzi can still improve and be a good world badminton player if pbsi give him some chances...

Lindaweni Fanetri beat Tee Jing Yi in straight-sets...not bad. Out of the 3 back-up WS players, she's the one with the best prospect. Get rid of Aprilia and Rizky Amelia Pradipta! Rosaria Yusfin Pungkasari also beat Siti Anida Lestari Qoryatin 21-14, 21-14. Bellaetrix Manuputty also progresses as reported.

Other remaining matches in WS R16:
Lindaweni Fanetri vs Rosaria Yusfin Pungkasari [4] -- another Pelatnas vs Djarum match and this time, I think Lindaweni could win.

MAS is ensured to have a rep in the QF with Beryno Wong squaring off against Lim Fang Yang.

I predict the following lineup in MS QF:
Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka [1] vs Beryno Wong/Lim Fang Yang
Indra Bagus Ade Chandra [13] vs Pakkawat Vilailak [15]
Andreas Adityawarman [12] vs Fauzi Adnan
Bandar Sigit Pamungkas [6] vs Keigo Sonoda

    WS QF:
Kaori Imabeppu [1] vs Fransiska Ratnasari [8]
Maria Febe Kusumastuti [3] vs Sannatasah Saniru [5] or Elyzabeth Purwaningtyas
Sapsiree Taerattanachai/Maziyah Nadhir vs Lindaweni Fanetri/Rosaria Yusfin Pungkasari [4]
Maria Elfira Chrsitina [7] vs Bellaetrix Manuputty

Hendra A. Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto Chandra progress to R16 after an easy win. They will face Endi/Sandi Darma Kusumah later tonight.

Didit Juang/Seiko Wahyu also won as expected and will probably face Teo Kok Siang/Goh Wei Shern for a place in the last 8.

Febby had no more strength by the end of game 3. Yes she should be extremely fatiqued because this is her 4.5 tournament in a row...
    • Asian Junior Team championship (that's pretty much half a tournament)
    • Asian Junior Individual championship
    • INA National Circuit Central Java
    • INA National Circuit East Java
    • Astec INA Challenge
On the other side of the story, Elilzabeth was just on fire today. Magical badminton indeed. Her style is extremely unorthodox and she displayed very intelligent gamesmanship... She is a true disciple of SGS Elektrik [school of Iie Sumirat and Taufik Hidayat]...

Ana Rovita beat the top-seed in 3 long games...24-22 in the rubber-set  She will now play her team-mate Fransiska Ratnasari for a place in the last 4. I think Nana can progress to the SF.

The other quarter-final in the lower half should be between Maria Elfira Christina and Bellaetrix Manuputty.

Interesting clashes in R16 of MD later on tonight:
Didit Juang/Seiko Wahyu vs Teo Kok Siang/Goh Wei Shern -- it will be a bonus of Didit/Seiko can progress to QF.

I Komang Sandy/Ricky Widianto vs Wifqi Windarto/Afiat Yuris Wirawan [3] -- with the lower half dominated by INA pairs, I expect Wifqi/Afiat to progress all the way to the Final.

Mohd Ulinnuha/Berry Agriawan vs Mohd Rizky Delynugraha/Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto -- an anticipated clash between INA's possible top pairs. Tough to predict the winner...but I will go with Ulin/Berry.
