Good as they are, TG/CW is better than TG/HB. Problem with the Danes yesterday is the saame typical problem for them, match temperament. They blew up after leading 10-5 at one pt in game 2.

But even Kennneth Jonassen acknowledges the US pair's performance, shook hands with TG while shaking his head talking about his players' performance.

HB is much better now than 2005. He is playing with way more confidence. KKK/TBH are just so inconsistent, I can see an upset. But after that I don't see them having any chance against LYD/JJS's great defense or Cai/Fu quickness.

KKK/TBH if on-form, will be the favourite
    but TG/HB is no push-over
    hard to predict...

TG/HB attacking play and defense have improved a lot... kkk/tbh need to watch out... stay focus... no over the top confidence.... no silly trick shots... emotionally must be stable throughout the match...

but I think we might see an upset here... aduh! :(

    How so??..

..how so??..The last time Tony & Candra paired up in the WC, they only went as far as the QF Rd. The same round Tony & Howard are currently in...
Although skill-wise Candra is arguably better than Howard, I think Tony benefits from a slightly younger Bach (who is in his late 20s) than Candra, from 2 yrs ago.
If anyone questions abt this current partnership's form & sharpness, you may enjoy their 2nd Rd. match videos:
    http://www.badmintonfreak.com/tony-gunawan-howard-bach-world-badminton-championship-2nd-round-video/
..how is the pressure on the M'sians?? Are they the favorites to win the MD title??..

Anyway, IMO, here are 2 keys for KKK & TBH to win:
    1. No fancy, schmancy plays from KKK..
    2. Keep Tony at the back. In the videos link above, if you notice, when Tony is at the back, the USA pairing's attack is less formidable than when he's at the front. So, keeping Tony at the back should be something for KKK & TBH to focus on.
Oh, btw, did i mention no fancy, schmancy plays from KKK...;)

    ^^Hmm..^^

Are the M'sians expected to win the MD title??..Are they even the favorites??..
I thought they're a seasoned pair already, having played in big tourneys before & being seeded at #2 in the 2007 WC and playing at home??..
You mean there is still pressure for them even when playing away from M'sia and being a seasoned pair??..

i dont think any players will say they have no pressure at all...:cool::cool:
be it playing at home or oversea...or else they are robots....:D:D
to answer your question, KKK/TBH is one of the expected pair
to win the MD....you can see Msian newspaper....no lie....:D:D:D

    ^^If..^^

..no players will say they have no pressure at all, then there should be no pressure for the M'sians as every pair/player is even-steven & even have the same amt of pressure.
That's right, KKK & TBH are just one of several pairs expected to win the title.

As for M'sian media putting pressure on KKK & TBH, shouldn't both of them expect that already?? Is this the first time they're being put in such spotlight? I bet the answer is a big NO.

So, all this talk about the M'sian players will have pressure this & that...I'll tell you this, if KKK & TBH play with a lot of pressure they are definitely going to lose the match...

if you are talking without equation, i think no point to argue with you :cool:
each players pressure and expectation is not the same...
i can say that TG/HB pressure is much lower as compared to KKK/TBH
as TG/HB have nothing to loose...KKK/TBH will under higher pressure
and a big YES, if they cant handle it, they will lose....
thanks for reminding us and prove our point..
the role of media? i dont think KKK/TBH being pressured by media???
where you get the facts??? when KKK/TBH said it?:cool::cool:
btw, you agreed that KKK/TBH are just one of the several pairs expected to win MD....so why go around the bush and ask whether they are the
expected pair to win, or are they even the favourite?
    why flip-floping???:cool::cool:
