Lin Dan is leading by two points!

    C'mon Peter! Close the gap!

Yea i think Clear winner means a win from an open space. Including drops, clears, nets and others apart from the smash.

Peter Gade always goes into tournaments with a good attitude. Hope he does well... It's frustrating that the draws are often unfavourable to him. ie. Lin Dan in OG and WC before SF :(.

LCW made something like 15 Clear Winners in one set. Does it mean his opponent, who just beat him, was too slow to get his clears (or something it was neither a smash or net play)?!?

Give Soni credit, can't be coincidence beating Chong Wei more than once. Imagine the uproar from the Malaysian press for Chong Wei loss, not to Lin Dan but to Soni. ... All these special training, special chefs, ...
Not sure what else to say except one thing for sure about our Malaysian players, nothing is for sure :D
Never thought we have to rely on KKK/TBH now for this prestigious title or even Zakry/Fairuzizuan, I shall take back all the bad things I said about Rexy(just click <undo>,<undo>, ...):D
    Rexy Boleh!

Oh. I thought it's a clear shot that made a "clear" win ... as opposed to a "smash" shot. Am I on the same level? I didn't read the previous posts.

Clear- A shot hit deep to the opponents back boundary line. The high clear is a defensive shot, while the flatter attacking clear is used offensively.

If the opponent wasn't able to retrieve this shot, it means a clear win, I think.

Exactly why did this topic come about? I'm assuming it happened during the game.

Oh no! PG is already tired.

Or maybe it's the definition of clear as in "obvious", like they clearly won the point or something :p.
