I love Thomas Laybourn. He's so active on court. Let's hope he gets to be active in BC again. We're gaining popularity, you know ... with JB mentioning us on air.

I guess it's gonna be up to the two tall girls to call the shots who's gonna win. And let's not make LYD's being also an MD semifinalist an excuse. He joined two disciplines, therefore, he's aware of what might happen.

    What did i predict???..

;)..any doubt about that??? (although Sony's win this yr isn't in straight games)..;)

I've always felt LCW and SDK are 50-50 when they meet each other. But noticing SDK has been on a roll and he seems to be invigorated with his new marriage, i'm sure he still has that bit of motivation going for him. Add that with the fact that SDK scalped LCW in the 2007 WC, in M'sia if i may add, thus the hunch for a SDK win.

The QF Rd turned out to have some pretty good affairs. The only surprise for me, personally, was the loss of all 3 XD pairs. Too bad i couldn't get any livestream to watch it.

My next hunch is..........................................................i'll reveal it in the Semifinals thread..;)

The question is ... would they be able to continue their winning streak until the finals? That remains to be seen

Let us all retire in preparation for tomorrow's matches.

Alas! It has been a heart-pounding day. But we need rest.

This is venkatesh ... signing off :D

Oh! before I leave. george@chongwei, can I make a request?

since you usually start the day 1 to 5 threads of tournaments, would you give me the opportunity to start the day 6 thread? Pretty please.

INA;s performance is not bad after all..

    China has 10 reps
    INA has 3
    KOR/MAS/DEN has 2
    France has 1

It seems that KOR deoends on LYD/LHJ as INA depends on NOVA?butet and TH,...come on Sony..

    ^^Yes..^^

..for Sony, that feeling of "i'm the man in charge now" and perhaps to show that he's really been training despite all the opposite reports abt him being not training prior to his wedding. Maybe also to bring his new bride a present?? Maybe also his desire to meet up with LD for another shot at a rematch from the 2007 WC MS Final??..They're all part of his motivation.;)
The next time LD gets married (i don't know when), most likely he will no longer play professional baddy..

SDK is no slough being top 2 player from INA...I think SDK has more medals in majors (AE, OLY, WC and AG) than a lot of players including Datuk if you check them out.
On paper and skills, Datuk should excel but I think it comes down to nerve on game day and facing a player that has beaten him before. Now, Pemuda must be chuckling with his prediction on MAS MS...Pemuda must be waiting for the MD to play out before he makes his grand return to BC..:D:p

Last year, LD and XXF failed to reach that golden pair status
Poor XXF, she anxiously waiting to make soup for LD
Unfortunately, LD seems doesn't care at all
