IMO, at early stage LD still did not know how play against PSW.Today he can read PSW's game very well.

..how early was that? 2, 3, 4 yrs ago??..that could be part of it..actually, nowadays, LD could read anyone's game very well (esp. the ones he plays often against).
Now, in today's Finals, LD will face an unfamiliar foe in JOJ (correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think they've met before?). How will he treat JOJ?? Will he figure out & dispose of JOJ pretty quickly??..

LD is known rarely lost to unfamiliar player (to him). He is most likely lost to LCW. This is unlike TH which sometimes lost to unknown players even at early round. :p

PSH beat LD in China Open 2007. that's the only one i can remember.

i don't think JOJ need any special thinking. CJ could've done it if not for the injury. LD is around 2 rungs above CJ.

LD will have trouble if that "unfamiliar player" is as fast as himself in 2004 (or PG in 1999)...:D

    For a second..

..i thought you wrote "LD is, at least, around 2 rungs above JOJ"...Man, if LD is around 2 rungs above CJ, i wonder how many rungs is JOJ below LD?? Remember also, LD played probably around 1/2 or 2/3 his ability in that MS Final match.
