This is similar to parents sending their kids to military academy to learn discipline. It is not exactly a novel idea. In this particular case, the photo-op angle may have been played up a bit too much. They went to "armed police" camp in the city for seven days, instead of the originally planned ten days in a field army training camp in Sichuan.
When are they going to dive into a pool of water dug out from a frozen lake? Real man and woman go thru this winter ritual every year in the North of China.
no wonder China National Teams always win.. this military style training camp, got whatever it takes to form a champion.. one day if I'm elected as PBSI Chairman, I will create a military camp like this near Mount Merapi, so everyday all Indonesia players will have to run back and forth between mountains.. then Indonesia shall beat China,
according to Christian Hadinata, PBSI will do similar thing this year for some of Pelatnas member at National Military Academic at Magelang (Central Jawa).
Yeah I once read Hadinata and staffs are preparing similar camp for pelatnas members, but not the senior team, limited for pelatnas pratama (junior team) only. Still don't think they can stand it..

That picture reminds me of a worrisome mother seeing her baby boy off for the military training. The good thing is the baby boy will grow up physically and mentally....
XXF and WYH smile too much! Most of the pictures, they smile together! The one appears in most of military pictures is Lin Dan, at least I think so. what are the longest-straight-days without having bath of XXF? More than 3 days?
