In the finished Korea Challenge 2009, LYD has got two titles again in MD and XD with the same partners.

That reminds me of the natural truth: "the global optimum is the local optimum."

    :)

In the background of the photo, the big grab on the pink grip is of LYD himself. The official name of the tournament is "Hwa-soon" Challenge, which was held at his hometown. :)

SBS Sports showed 2h on Saturday and Sunday(only XD and WS). They taped and did commentary for the MD final yesterday too. They'll show it either Tues or Wednesday 10:30AM to noon. There was a single fixed camera trained on the other 2 finals and presumably taping but no broadcast. No idea whether any station outside of Korea bothered to buy the rights to any of it.

I'm sorry. What year are you talking about? Lee Chong Wei hasn't competed in the Malaysian IC since '03 when it was still called a 'satellite' and he definitely wasn't #1 at the time. As for this year, the highest ranked player was a different Chong Wei (Feng), not the world #1 Lee.

CONGRATULATION!!!! to LYD &JSS. bravo!...bravo!!!! though not against KKK & TBK. Denish are 4th position, at any time can change the game. WELL DONE! to both of them. LYD got lot of praises, meanly for him, come form sport commentor of M'sia yesterday, Sylvia a form badminton palyer of M'sia. my mum was so excited to watch them in action. His parents must be so lucky for up bringing him, become professional just like T/Wood, well known to the world..... I wish sucesses to the three of them in their carrier. MAY GOD BLESS THEM ALL...... how about the mixed double didn't they participate?
