Good Morning to all. It is quite cold and foggy in New Delhi this morning.
And my morning has been a cheerful one after seeing both Saina and Dviju/Gutta have reached semis.:)
On the other hand, Sir Taufik have left me fuming:mad:. Losing in straight games. Not winning a single match. Miserable..... :crying::crying:

BTW it seems Jan O found his rythm at last. Too late though...

HYH takes the 3rd spot from Group A. LCW will play BCL tonight to decide top spot.
PSH still tops Group B despite losing. PG and BP will try to win tonight to join him.

Saina takes the second Group A semifinal spot.

Alven/Hendra takes the third spot from Clark/Robertson.

    Juhl/Kristiansen joins CEH/WPT from Group A

In Group A, the POL (Mateusiak/Kostiuczyk) pair has topped the group. If the DEN (Nielsen/Pedersen) pair wins tonight, they go through as well. But if they lose, the THA (Sudket/Saralee) pair goes through. The KOR pair is out.
For Group B, if Clark/Kellogg beats Hendra/Vita tonight, then the ENG and IND (Diju/Jwala) pairs will go though. For the INA pair to advance, they have to win by 4 points in straight sets. Clark/Kellogg can also go through even if they lose in straight sets as long as they don't lose by 15 points or more.

Diju/Gutta has a very good chance to advance, but it is not guaranteed yet. It depends on the outcome of the last group match. The only way the IND pair can miss out is if INA beats ENG in straight sets by a margin of 4 to 14 points.

    PSH has topped the group.
If BP beats PG, BP will be tied with PSH on matches W-L, but because PSH has beaten BP in their group match, PSH will be ranked higher.
Same thing if PG beats BP. PSH had beaten PG in their group match.

When it's a tie between two players, the winner of their match is the tie-break winner.
