    Ms, Ws & Wd = 3

Looking at the poll results, not many were confidence about Malaysian shuttlers despite both the home advantage & severely weakened field.

Some are drumming that this thread created too much pressure for the Malaysian shuttlers. *Malaysian shuttlers lived in a glass house. They should not be pressured as they want things cheery and all. In short, they want to be paid big bucks but must not be pressured. Itu wang besar mau, tapi tu pening tak mau.

... anyway, can one little thread in a badminton forum derailed our shuttlers' mission?? This is scary. I mean if our shuttlers' heads are turned because of this ONE lil' thread, then I must say we may as well forget about winning em' big trophies because thats where the big guns and REAL pressure are.

Some say we should just let our shuttlers be. Win or lose dont matter. Treat such competition like some fun trip to Disney World.

A few totally went off tangent. They equate this thread to winning the AE, WC, OG gold.

So, now we got LCW, WMC & CEH/WPT in the final tomorrow. Ok, lets do a quick check ...

Do we still have home ground advantage?? ... YES!

Boleh fans' support? ... YES, seats are starting to fill!

Food wise? ... Nasi lemak, sweet n sour pork, mee hailam, satay etc still readily available!

With all these in placed, our shuttlers MUST win all 3 finals tomorrow. Ok, our WR1 MD KKK/TBH sort of slipped up despite the home and weakened field thingy. And I been asked a basic common sense question what will happen if they lose ... well, in KKK/TBH's case other than not having a juicy winners' cheque to bank in, as the WR1 MD pair they failed to land the SSF despite the home support and weakened field. BUT ... but ... maybe KKK/TBH with all the travelling and tourneys were a little jaded. Its tough ... very tough to be playing badminton for Malaysia. Even the hardcore poor in Malaysia have a much easier life than our shuttlers.

Wait a minute ... if KKK/TBH were jaded ... what about LYD/JJS?? .... anyway, thats another story. Another time ... ok?

For tomorrow, I am expecting 3.

Time to head out to the mamak for a teh tarik session ... ;)

To help MAS players to stay cool, calm and collected

    .
Pemuda, we hear what you've been saying. What's found by many MAS fans is that you're adding pressure to MAS players unnecessarily.

Instead of helping MAS players to stay cool, calm and collected, and to focus on their tasks, you seem to be demanding too much from them.

Malaysian badminton destiny depends on what we say in this thread/forum??

Chris, please take a minute and try to understand what you are saying.

If what I say in this thread or forum affect our shuttlers negatively or Malaysian badminton in general, then how in the world are we going to show up let alone compete in the big tournaments? If our shuttlers cant take pressure, I am sorry there are no events in the BWF calender that is pressure free. If this forum or thread holds the key to our badminton success, why the need to hire Rexy, Hendrawan & co? We just post cheerful stuff here and the likes of LD & co will just fold over.

Me demanding too much? Isnt it a fact, that we have home support? Isnt not a fact that the field is weakened? Lets look at facts, please.

I respect your stand. It is your right to put your views forward in this forum. I suggest you learn to do likewise.

Chris, I feel for you man. Sometimes we just have to accept that there are not many fans/people out there who are considerate and helpful. Let that guy has his way, life still goes on. No matter what you do, he will never understand that he is not being helpful by doing all the long posting here.

If you analyse this quote carefully (even without any context), you should come to the conclusion that it is hypocrytical.

hcyong: If don't deliver, then how?
Pemuda: Then they go back home without the winner's cheque and you get to continue doing what you normally do.
hcyong: So that means, to deliver is NOT a MUST. Ceh, I thought it was something serious, that somehow they MUST deliver.
Pemuda: If you take the initiative to read, you should have no problems understanding the outcome/end result if they dont deliver.
hcyong: ??? So what other outcome/end result is there beside going home without the winner's cheque and us going on with life as usual?

If you take your time ... I mean really take your time, you should come to the conclusion that the correct spelling is hypocritical, not hypocrytical.

    So..

..MAS, through LCW, WMC and the former #1 WD pair managed to win the big prized-cheques and fulfilled Pemuda's "Malaysia MUST deliver" campaign...
Now, up next is the SEA Games...Will the MAS squad deliver, once again, or will they just sit and enjoy their big prize winning cheques??

i doubt MAS will deliver as big in the SEA games.
with INA at full strength, it will be difficult.

Not just INA, THA too especially in the women's and mixed section. And let's not forget China-powered SIN. They won the team event in 2003.

Even we got beaten in football against Vietnam already.
