Just a minor correction. Jia Min is 10-year-old and played above her age group in Cheers 2009 Under 13. She is the winner in this group.

Bai Song and Du Peng should have won. I thought they were the better side. Du Peng made quite a couple of mistakes at the rubber set.

Seems to me that Erwin has done better than when he was in the national team. How ironical! :D

I wasn't there to witness the match, but I suppose Bai Song and Du Peng are from China. What are they doing here? Coaching...?

Liang Xiao Yu - How old is she?

We have tried to guess the age of the recently crowned WS champion for the Cheers Age Group tournament and it appears that Liang Xiao Yu cannot be above 15 years of age.

For she is currently taking part in the Li Ning S'pore Youth International GSU15 and has won two matches thus far:

Tue 12/15/2009 2:00 PM beat Zii Yii LEE [MAS] 21-7, 21-5

Thu 12/17/2009 11:30 AM beat Wing Yung NG [HKG] 21-12, 21-13

Tomorrow she will be meeting the No.1 seed from the Philippines,
(Fri 12/18/2009 2:10 PM) Malvinne Ann Venice ALCALA.

And in the evening, at 6.35 pm, she will be playing doubles with Liang Yun against Hong Kong's Wing Yung NG / Wing Chiu TSANG

Should be very interesting tomorrow. :D
