^^So..^^ ..which lad is the most good looking in the 3rd pic??.. *As for your friend, Oldhand, he's probably on a sabbatical or super busy w/work. Haven't seen much of his signs the last 2 months..
phandrew, The T200 is a great racket. All rounder and very fast. Its stiff but not as stiff as the L60. The L60 very stiff and more head heavy. I find the L60 is more demanding and not as fast as the T200. But overall both are excellent rackets. I get more power out of the L60 due to the heavier head. To compare with the Trinity The Trinity is a great racket overall. Different people have different conclusions (all good ) due to Dink making various weights and BP. My Trinity's BP 288mm and weight 87.3g. I find this racket to be very good. The power you can get from this is awesome. I find this racket to be very stiff (like the NS9000X). I find this racket the best all-rounder out of the three. To conclude; if i was playing a fast game with a lot of drives and few smashes, I would use the T200 (for me this is Mixed Double). If I was playing a game that had a mixture of smash & drives & placement (everything), I would use the Trinity (for me this is Men's Doubles). If I was playing singles (majority powerplay, thats how I play ), I would use the L60. Thats how I would break down the three rackets. Different people play with different styles and technique, so this evaluation of the three rackets might not be agreeable to everyone.
Here are my joys. There you go.... Top (left to right): Yonex NS Tour Yonex NS9900 Apacs Nano 9990 Yonex AT900T New impact Wood N90 Bottom (left to right): Yonex Arc10 Yonex MP99 Yonex NS9000X Carlton Vapour Trail Tour Yonex NS9900 Yonex Arc Z-slash BTW, the cars are my son's toys and he wanted them to be in it as well
Hey Yoppy, Excellent collection of rackets you have assembled there. I'm interested in what you think about them, specifically the APACS clones and the Impact N90. Which rackets do you often reach for first when playing? Thanks.
Nice collection of rackets you got there what racket do you prefer the most ? And where would you personaly place the Arc Z with the rackets you've got ?
might as well throw in an update here with racquets. from left to right: 1x Kimoni 150g Training Racquet 2x ZELM Powerplay 10000 } Backup Main Racquets 5x ZELM Powerplay 9990 } Main Racquets 1x BOO Nanospeed 8000 3x Black Knight Vortex Radons (use to have 5 but all are sold now)
thank you, they are amazing racquets and my favorite to date a very solid feel on shots and delivers in the power department for me, i don't notice any lack or defense due to being head heavy which is great cause i love head heavy racquets. solid racquet that can be strung at high tensions easily.
Actualy Apacs Nano 9990 is not a yonex clone racket. Its one of their own line. I find it very head heavy and hence very good racket for smash practice, although its very poor in defends and returning smash. The new impact N90 is a Li Ning N90 clone. Its not bad at all especially considering the much lower price tag. Playing wise it has a similar feeling to Arc10. I use them both quite extensively Among all its no doubt that NS9900 is my all time fav racket so far. It really suits my style of play. As to the first racket I choose during badminton session, it really depends on my mood on the day. If I feel a slight tireness, I would go for AT900T
Hi LD I just had a few chances to use the arc Z and find it a very powerfull one. The first game i was using NS9900 and then on the second game i swicthed to arc Z, and instantly I can tell that it improves the smash by a small fraction. Having said that, so far i still prefer the NS9900 as im an attacking double player (uses plenty of wrist power rather) therefore i need that extra control and balance which i think NS9900 suits me more. In regards to design and looks Arc Z is the best
Heard the Impact 90 is nothing like the N90 and it is a poor clone of the Li-Ning racket. Gosh , the T200 on top of the page serial code is very close to mine
Correct Impact N90 is nothing like Li-Ning N90. Impact N90 is a lot lighter balance racket. I have seen 3 Impact N90 all have same problem, the bottom handle cap (where the logo is located) came off. Lucky i kept the plastic cover on mine.
Was hoping to show you a magic trick ... and I guess it still sorta is ... ... except a certain local online shop had the nerve to send me a secondhand AT700 new ! By chance bumped into a new AT700 old there in the deals section (whilst checking for a kneebrace) and got offered a new version as well in a two for a good deal offer. Wanted a 3U, website showed 4U in the regular section for AT700 new but was told the one they/he had in stock was 3U as well like the old. After a delay without any notice of nearly a week the package arrived today with the ones in the last pic. Even the "new" old had a shuttlemark on it but was otherwise in perfect condition, in contrast to the other one (strung with non-stock NBG95 string and various shuttle-, paintmarks, two paintchips and without plastic on the handle ). It is a 3U btw, perhap they couldn't get any from the supplier anymore. Let's see what the respons is this time ... if any (in which case Rotterdam should prepare for WW III )
