Well, the quarter finals are here. Most interesting match, in my opinion : LCW vs Chen Jin Chen Jin sent his enemy packing rather quickly, while LCW slogged against Du Pengyu, dropping his first game for the year. Who will prevail?
This is KL, LCW's favourite hunting ground. With thousands of Boleh fans rooting him, LCW will be difficult to beat. He took it easy against DPy last night, maybe he sort of underestimated the lad thus allowing DPy to take the 1st set off him. But once LCW adjusted his bracelets, gold chains & rings and pulled up his underwear, DPy was pretty much chasing shadows in the 3rd. CJ & LCW? Tough ... on paper and from what I saw in KO, it should be LCW. But we have this Boleh tendency or disease i.e. win one title but falter in the next tourney thingy. If I am a betting man, I put my money rather hesitantly on LCW taking this one
Yes, I totally agree with you I am confident that LCW will win on his home ground, but there is a 45% chance that Chen Jin will spoil the party.
this is interesting...of all the MD pairs in the quarter-finals only KKK/TBH pair is the only one left. What happened to Malaysian Men's Doubles this year? This is Malaysian Open, right? I was expecting at least 3-4 pairs in the quarters, and maybe 2 pairs in the semi-finals. We can't have Malaysia become like Denmark and Indonesia.
LCW vs chen jin should be an interesting match to watch!! kkk/tbh vs clark/robertson too.. actually this match i won;t be surprised if the english pair can steal a set from the mas pair..robertson is in top form this tournament
actually this is nothing wrong this year mo is so competitive malaysia is abit lucky to have 7 pair/player in quater last year with a relative weak field
Malaysia player quality had drop dramatically.... if LCW, KKK & TBH and other current national player is retired, then Malaysia Badminton is DOOMED !
haha are u in the stadium this year and last year? if yes,and u still think so then i wont comment further
last year no, last 2 years yes =D well, is just my personal opinion... somewhere inside heart, still put a little bit of hope..
well if u are there last year and again at there this year u will see how much the under 21 years old army improve i will post a long essay for that after mo not enough time to comment now and u can go 2009 mo livescore and see the line up i beat u canot find more than 4 chinese player even ina and korea doesnt send their full squad last year
I think the match of the day : LCW vs CJ. Unless LCW regain his KO smashing form, it is gonna be an uphill battle against the never say die staying power of CJ. CJ would also have received important tips from DPY on LCW's weaknessess from yesterday's match.I believe we will see a more attack minded CJ in this match. My assesment LCW 55 : 45 CJ.
What ever improvement other country badminton academic made there is no match to what China is doing. You just see how many young players they have that is capable give a good game to any opponent. I will foresee China players dominant for a long long time.
huh? are u serious? they already dominate badminton cant u see it? no need use the word foresee anyone in badminton know china is the strongest
Ahh...battle of the two mid-tier players? That will be interesting too. You know, ever since JOJ beat LCW in the China Open, he has sort of grown on me too. Best of luck to Lee Chong Wei and Jan O' Jorgensen here.
i agree too as I think these two are about even. i am rooting for ntm but wouldn't be totally upset if joj win because he will soon take Peter Gade's place as #1 Danish player.
