    Yup, think so too.

Not necessarily it's Mak partner TWK, could be stratch pairs. But yeah, Mak/TWK not at their best, they've played better.;)
    If it's Chai Biao/ZN as 2nd pair.

Uncles seem determined not to lose 3rd time to youngsters, embarassing. :D

I think they let the group match go to save stamina. :) Anyway, congratulations to the uncles for winning against the youngsters despite their age. They proved they were fitter towards the end of the rubber game where Mak/Tan made mistakes.

I was there today. Was trying to keep awake during the WD.
Lydia, Lydia, mistakes, mistakes. (Another Hafiz?) TJY scurries around the court pretty well, could be the next WMC.
LCW indomitable after he feels he has given enough points to KBH. There is no next LCW that I can see.
Pretty impressed with the CPS/GLY pair. CPS has good court-craft. GLY has good anticipation. Inexperience let them down today.
In LYL (not to be mistaken with Lin Yu-Lang), we have our own Du Jing. In appearance that is.
Too many mistakes from MHC/TWK. Give the Uncles the second Thomas Cup slot. They can scare a lot of 2nd doubles with their experience.

Yea, Mak/Tan likes the net... :( I still believe they have potential though.
And I felt that MS and WD were easily the most boring...

For LYL/NPL...NPL played better than her partner. In terms of apperance LYL looks like DJ. But skill wise, they are just too far apart. NPL can play better if changed partner.

As for MHC/TWK, I think TWK played better. His touches in the net. Not good as KKK but can improve. MHC has to improve more.

I got just one word for LYDIA, disappointed. Expected her to play better after the match against Wang Lin.

I missed the XD matches. But we can expect more from CPS/GYL

As for LCW. No comment. ^^

Since your guys mentioned it, I know who is Cheah Like Hou, I have played against him before.

He looks like any ordinary guys out there... He is very fit. I heard that his father is ex-international...

Who was it that was telling me that in Lydia Cheah, we actually got a shuttler with potential?

    Take away LCW

If we take away LCW from the recently concluded NGP, we have a bunch of average below par shuttlers, the whole lot of them.

That's what you usually get when you take away the top players.

Talking about taking away 1 player, just one.

Average below par shuttlers? I wish SBA would buy these players for the Singapore team. :) Come on lah Permuda, dun be so harsh. These Malaysian players can beat (or even thrash) many national teams in the world.

If that is possible, for your SBA to buy up our 2nd rate shuttlers like Lydia Cheah & co, BAM should have them gift wrapped and hand delivered to the SBA doorstep. Heck, we will even throw in a free carton of shuttles for every 2nd rate shuttlers SBA purchased.

I am not being harsh, but for all the money, facilities and coaching expertise invested, Malaysia should not be getting half baked average shuttlers.
