Agus entered the National Team as coach of MS after the Tommy vs. Hayom selection process. :p Lius decided on using the selection method before Agus even went in. ;)

I don't remember about the date, but I talked to Agus in Cipayung first week of January, he already appointed as new coach. At that moment, Hayom and Febe not join pelatnas yet. Selection match surely after that. Should we confronted Agus and Lius? :D:D
Yes, as a Ketua Binpres, Lius also responsible for this selection method.

Marleve could reject 'Linda-April selection match' idea to determined 4th WS, I just think that Agus could do so if he want, but I might wrong.
Well, you know inside PBSI better than me :D

Looking at the lineup of Thailand's Uber Cup Team in their debut match today, I am pretty sure Maria Kristin Yulianti can defeat their WS3, while Liliyana Natsir/Shendy Puspa Irawati can defeat their WD2 quite comfortably.

    The question is:
    1. Whether Adriyanti Firdasari can defeat Ratchanok Intanon? Chance is 45-55.
    2. Whether Maria Febe Kusumastuti can defeat Nitchaon Jindapol? Chance is 50-50.
    3. Whether Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Greysia Polii can defeat Savitree Amitrapai/Vacharapon Munkit. Chance is 55-45.

I still think INA can beat THA at least 3-2

The lineup of THA's Thomas Cup Team is even weaker and they might lose one tie to Sri Lanka

India will surely top their group and INA should beat THA in the QF to qualify for the Thomas Cup Finals.

    another possible scenario??..

..if Ratchanok is THA's no.1 WS player, why don't INA put Maria KY to play against her? And put A. Firdasari vs. THA's Jindapol? Are they trying to rest Maria KY for her match vs. Korea??..

I guess MKY will up to WS2
Firda or Febe will against Inthanon
April will play as WS3, and she will got "warming up" tomorrow against SRI.

I think the solve is Lius idea, following same way's selection in past.
This problem actually simple but he choosed the complicated way.

Is it posibble now to play lower rank player (a.k.a MKY) as WS #1 against Ratchanok, and higher rank (Firda) as WS #2?

i just thought about the ranking of players..

:p..wow, in that case, good luck to the INA WS players, esp. the 1st two singles players. If either or both of them lose, then it'll put so much pressure on the WD pairs..good luck!!

Febe vs Ratchanok..Save Firda Energy to fight Hee Bae Sung !
    Greysia/Meiliana vs Savitree/Vacharaporn
    Maria vs Nitchaon
    Shendy/Lilyana vs Pijitjan/Chayanit
    Aprilia vs Kewalin

Take care of business vs. the THA and they'll be fine..

The INA Uber Cup team should just focus on winning their tie vs. THA. Don't have to worry about saving certain players' energy for the Koreans.
If they lose vs. THA, then they'll be in an uphill battle vs. the Koreans to get at least 2nd place in their group; and they might not even win against them.

The line up is depend on their world ranking. You can not shuffle as you like, only way is not to play your higher rank player. But MkY is no 3 thus you have to drop three players before MkY can play no.1. Who are the rest after MKY?

    and

Why is MKY ranked so low? If she is so good shouldn't she be ranked higher. This is something we must learn from China...

INA's WD1 will have a harder time against THA's WD1, but whoever plays for THA in WD2 will be destroyed by our WD2... ;)

Hey, this will work too... :D You're some sort of strategy genius... :)

    Other possibilities:
Febe vs. Inthanon is 50-50 in my opinion...
Maria Kristin vs. Nitchaon should be 60-40... :)
Aprillila vs. Kewalin can be 55-45...

Maria Kristin was injured for many months in 2009. So she only participated in 7 tournaments or something. But now she is much better and can move pretty smoothly on the court. I saw her win the INA National Championships a few weeks ago. She was awesome... :)

Correct! Anneke can play WS3... :p:eek:

Firdasari vs Inthanon also 50:50..both Firdasari and Febe had beaten by Ratchanok before...so..INA must ready if lost 1 point from 1st WS...
