Chong Wei has finally won that coveted title; everyone will feel proud for him. It's his second attempt in an AE Finals by the way, and he has delivered. Congrats to him.

Not as "hefty" as OG silver -RM300,000 & RM3,000/mth pension. KKK/TBH got the usual 25% bonus for winning SS title, RM40,000 from their home states.

Like last year when LD won the Ae and lost the SO. Maybe LCW should return the favour in kind.

Better not do anything silly. The debate is still going on.

LCW is now better than World No.1

    .
So many of us are so happy with tears with this LCW's All-England result.

LCW is now better than World No.1. :):):)

who said the draw was bad for lcw? maybe he/she should take a minute to see again ... it wasn't done by the players but by bwf and get this fact right!

this is one side of a coin:
with the chinese top 1, 2 & 3 group together anything could have happened - bcl could have let precious ld through by saying knee cracking again, cj also could have pretend to try hard and said he ate too much salad and fresh ld could just snap lcw? but this didn't happen obviously...

and on the other side of the same coin:
if the chinese are that good how could they lost to an unseeded tago whom lcw disposed off in straight sets and he did it in an all england final which obviously everybodys know he never won anything in an ae final in his lifetime.

what actually happened was the chinese team knew their boys were going to flop this ae 10 thats why they hope for 2 golds only and that lcw won fair and square though the umpire may thought the last bird was in!:)

But to be fair 21-19,21-19 is just 4 linecalls away .-) .. And if you watched Tago vs. Bao.. Tago got acctually got a bit of a lucky break in second set.. With Bao having match point.. it could just as well have been a straight set victory for Bao inthat game.. margins are pretty slim these days.. especially with the rally-scoring!

Millions of ppl will question this. Yes is out so what? This is problem of the people up there on how this should be solved. Like tennis, there is already a progress made. Soccer, so many similar cases, still the same till now and the World Cup is coming soon.
So, think again, don't argue or debating it as there is no end. The people to be blame definitely not lines men or referee. Cheers!

you must have more than two beer, i had a hard time reading above!:D

actually its very debatable, we never know the outcome should it went to deuce but we can only state the fact a win is a win.:)

as i mentioned the chinese were not fit so it could be the reason bao lost when he was unable to secure the 2nd set.:p

no doubt tago played well and i can imagine how he feels during the game, very good for up and coming players to learn here..:)

Is his self pressure gone for good??..

..after this AE win, that's certainly something we'll follow and see in his next showdown w/one of the CHN's top 3 MS players, esp. against Lin Dan..

Yesterday, when the weather turned really cats & dogs, I managed to watch the first set with the help of an old internal aerial & despite so many grains on the screen, until my eyes turned red trying to find the shuttle :p- ... during the match, I could see LCW is facing his own fear-as we all know what it is- but I appreciate him for not giving up even though he lost some of the long rallies to KT. Not like what happened in last year WC. And KT has improved from the first time I saw him play which is really good. Good luck to him in future and congrats to LCW!

my father and I were actually arguing of who hit that last birdie... cos we're quite over excited over the win and missed that part.. but it was replayed few times and we got the confirmation of where the birdie landed early this morning during the sport news... we like to think it somehow touched KT before it landed... a possibility? regardless, the winner was announced and he is happy, and we are happy... end of story :)

LCW told the press that he was not at his best against KT but it was good enough to win.
