As a compatriot, I am pleased with Tago's achievement at the AE2010. Although the last line call was disappointing it happens and therefore cannot be avoided under the current rule.

He, however, has to keep winning constantly so that he is properly recognised by BCers. Otherwise he is merely a dark horse and will be forgotten sooner or later.

I hope he maintains his performance at the Swiss Open as well.

I think it's funny that people say LCW deserves a rest after winning the AE but Tago who played several more games than LCW did is already fighting for his life in the SO.

Well, I think the issue is that he probably hasn't played a full-week tournament since his junior days, so I'm not surprised if he's knackered after the AE.

Tago is 21 while LCW is 28... See the difference? :)

Tago works part-time at a telecommunications company while LCW is a full-time superstar professional... See the difference? :)

Haha, I know which I would choose! But even so PG is 33 but he trains full-time so he can still manage to play in the Swiss Open.

LCW isnt exactly resting. He has to entertain all the politicians, Prime Minister etc....can be more tiring (read :bothersome:p ) than playing or training. Plus his knee injury, back injury.....
If he plays SO, then entertain politicians, media, etc 1 week, then rest a few days, less time to prepare for TC ;)

In CHN, success is norm. If you fail, politicians want a word.
In MAS, success is rare. If you succeed, politicians want to be associated.

No lah, LCW went thru all that already, on a bigger magnitude, after OG 2008(due to by-elections in Penang). So, this time already know how it goes.
Plus, LD won the GOLD, bigger thing.:p:D

Oh, Tago has advanced to R2 of Swiss, good. Let's see how far he goes this tourney.

THe OG reception was bigger magnitude than the AE one for LCW. So, the slowing down issue should not arise.
LD won OG Gold, of course bigger :p
