It's 23-all now. Riyanto seems committed too many mistakes, while Ayub did too, despite of not as many as Riyanto

Riyanto looked more aggressive but error-prone while Azryn shows more of accurate placing and deceptive kind. I think Riyanto will win :D:D. 17-10 now

Riyanto forces rubber-set  He should have won it in straight-sets if not for the many errors in the first-set. Typical of a junior player.....

Riyanto grab 2nd set 21-15 with 7 smashes vs 0 from Azryn. Riyanto could grow to be like Hayom, then grow to be like BCL, but can never be like Lin Dan nor Taufik, Dato LCW (hehehe *sotoy*)

It remains to be seen  He's still learning every day and that's the advantage of being a junior player.

As for Hayom, he's already 22 and if he wants to become counted as one of the top-player, he only has this year and perhaps the next 2 years to prove it. After that, his chance will be gone

Would you consider Sony Dwi Kuncoro or Simon Santoso as a player in the calibre of Taufik, Lin Dan or LCW? I personally think not yet.......

I agree with you. Not yet in term of level of playing, but in term of achievement, it's probably too late for them. And remember, SDK and SS are only 1-2 years younger than LD, CMIIW. As for SS, at his full speed and top form, I consider SS could resemble LD, but SS is way way lack of consistency. LD could maintain it during whole tournaments while SS could only at some points of game huehehe

OT: To date, Simon Santoso only won 1 GP Gold and 1 SS titles. Add a couple of SEA Games Gold Medals to that.

As for Sony Dwi Kuncoro, he did grab a Silver at the WC 2007 and had a burst of good form in 2008, winning 3 SS titles. He also won a few Asian Championships titles.
