I suppose you are right, I would rather play and lose to Olympic and world champions like LD, and LYD/LHJ, than lose to Poland and Nigeria, much more worth it than lose to those teams, Its good experience as well, but do any of the Peru players do any of the SS or GP events ?

Malaysia, don't have that much chance, IMO they have LCW and KKK/TBH, but their 2nd and 3rd MS players are pretty inconsistent as well as the MD they don't really stand much of a chance against CY/FHF or JR/LP. MAS 2nd (or 3rd ???) MS player HH, is also very inconsistent, I remember Denmark open 09 he was 11-1 up against Zwiebler and he lost.
Korea on the other hand, they are in the same group as china, Simular to MAS as they don't really have strengh in depth, 1st MS player will be PSH, who can spring a suprise against LD etc, but then the 2nd and 3rd MS players aren't even top 30, Shon Wan Ho, had a good AE, but can he beat players like CJ, JOJ ? I am not too sure, simular case for MD, LYD/JJS are a great pair by I can't think at the moment who will be 2nd MD. Korea usually do well in XD, but thats not an element in the T&UC

Edit: LYD by playing ? Can't find his name on tournament software.

When there is no expectation, MAS could do well; however, if they do well and got into the finals, they will lose since there is expectation again!

If msia to beat china, it will have to be 3-0... because Msia 2last ties are almost IMPOSSIBLE to beat china... but to beat china 3-0... The chances for that to happen is 8.4%

Let's size up China against other countries.
    My prediction.

    China vs Hosts Malaysia
    Final score : 3-2
Malaysia gets points from MS#1 and MD#1, but drops the rest.

    China vs Denmark
    Final score : 3-1
Denmark gets one point from Boe/Mogensen.

    China vs Indonesia
    Final score : 3-2
Indonesia gets points from Kido/Setiawan and Sony Dwi Kuncoro

    China vs South Korea
    Final Score : 3-1
    South Korea's MD#1 steals a point.

Note that this is only a prediction, don't go around and saying "Why didn't you put 3-1 for China VS Malaysia? LCW will lose to Lin Dan!!!!!"

Because this is just my prediction.

Order of play of Saturday, August 15, 2009
    4.Followed byMD Yun CAI [5][IMG][CHN] Haifeng FU[IMG][CHN] - [IMG][MAS] Mohd Zakry ABDUL LATIF [8] [IMG][MAS] Mohd Fairuzizuan MOHD TAZARI 18-21 24-22 21-15[IMG]0:57
It would be a very tough task for Cai Yun/ Fu Haifeng to beat Malaysian second doubles in Kuala Lumpur. They were nearly beaten by the Malaysian in India during last year World Championship.

Besides, Wong Choong Haan also defeated Chen Jin in their recent encounter during Macau GP tournament 2009 semifinal.

With KKK/TBH almost assured to beat Guozhendong/Xu Chen and if Lin Dan also being beaten by LCW in the first single ( cannot recall if Lin Dan has ever beaten LCW in Malaysia before), I really doubt China could become the winner.
