I guess he meant that Malaysia should have the confidence to beat China but even if they lose, it's ok as long as they try their best.

Crowd factor may tilt the tie from 60-40 to China, to 50-50. So Malaysia stands a chance, IF we win MS1 & MD1.
Look at how fired up HTH-Zakry played on Wed, they need the atmosphere to charge them up. They lost concentration towards the end against Denmark. Xu Chen & Guo may not perform their best in this pressure cooker scenario.

    MAS - LCW, KKK+TBH, WCH, HTH+Zakry(or OSH), Hafiz ?
    CHN - LD, GZD+CX, CJ, CY+FHF, BCL(or CL) ?

I think CY/FHF will play as the first doubles and China would probably choose BCL as the 3rd singles as he is clearly more experienced than CL but who knows..China might spring a surprise

From my point of view, WCH will most likely lose to CJ. The important and the most crucial point here is, how will he lose? If he fights until the last second and last drop of blood, and then lose ... that will definitely bring up the motivation and fighting mood, in another word, the positive factors to the rest of the MAS players. If it is a totally one-sided game, then I think the rest of MAS players will experience extra pressure and burden ...... A bit of emotional...

my team won't have to be fired to perform!

even if we loose, we loose to a better team, we loose with honor and pride, we still capable of getting points from MS1 and MD1, and just maybe, MD2...though for MS2 and MS3, it will be a gone case. If any of the MS2 or MS3 score a point, MAS will beat CHN.

remember, this is our land, we are the host, we can create surprises. and WE CAN DO IT. don't fool around here. Malaysia Boleh!!!

i think the china's line up will be like this:
    MS1 Lin Dan
    MD1 Cai YUn/ Fu Haifeng
    MS2 Bao Chun Lai
MD2 Guo Zheng Dong/ Xu Chen
    MS3 Chen Long

based on the head to head, this line up is better if against Malaysia..
but, i think MAS will spring surprise whatever CHINA give them...
    MALAYSIA BOLEH...^^

No..in thomas,i believe that won't happend. But we do expect something that's more exciting than 3-0,n i hate it when the commentator said, the china team won the match "easily".

Do they have to follow the world ranking when placing the players line-up ?

I read the news paper today The Star. It mentions how malaysia have stacked up with china. Most of the winners are from semi finals. Even in 1992. so hopefully we win la..

But one thing is for sure is that it is going to be a great match tonight.. The clash of 2 badminton titans LCW and LD...
